LotusRIP
Dan Houser 1974 GTA III - 27 years old Vice City - 28 years old San Andreas - 30 years old GTA IV - 34 years old GTA V - 39 years old GTA VI - 43 years old GTA VII - 48 years old GTA VIII - 52 years old GTA IX - 57 years old GTA X - 61 years old GTA XI - 66 years old GTA XII - 70 years old GTA XIII - 75 years old (2049) GTA XIV - 79 years old Sam Houser & The Benz 1971 GTA III - 30 years old Vice City - 31 years old San Andreas - 33 years old GTA IV - 37 years old GTA V - 42 years old GTA VI - 46 years old GTA VII - 51 years old GTA VIII - 55 years old GTA IX - 60 years old GTA X - 64 years old GTA XI - 69 years old GTA XII - 73 years old GTA XIII - 78 years old (2049) I have followed the pattern of recent GTA release dates, with alternating 4 & 5 year gaps between each. The last GTA game, as an estimate, will be GTA XIII (GTA13) As for the consoles, here's a rough idea of the pattern we're following: +6 years = PS3 in 2006+7 years = PS4 in 2013 +8 years = PS5 in 2021 +9 years = PS6 in 2030 +10 years = PS7 in 2040 +11 years = PS8 in 2051 GTAXIII will be the last ever GTA. It will be released in the year 2049 towards the end of the PS7's generation. It will probably make V look like Donkey Kong and we'll have to download emulators just to play it. LotusRIP
Who says GTA dies with the Housers? Because The Beatles died with John Lennon, and Nirvana died with Kurt Cobain... etc. It's how creative teams work.

Loves GTA
Yeah, cause there's no way they won't get any talent between now and then that's as good (or better), than the current leadership.

When the time comes, the Housers will hand it over to someone else. I don't think they are likely to do that... they'd roll in their graves if GTA became anything like Saints Row or The Sims: San Andreas or something. I don't think they'll sell out so easily, and when the time has come, they'll probably say it's time for the series to come to closure. And if it does go on, it'll be like Foo Fighters compared to Nirvana...
JOSEPH X
Dan Houser should be put out to pasture. Each GTA is less brave than the last. V is looking like it will appeal to the middle-of-the-road types and not feature much crime at all, except for a few heists. Time to get someone else in - he's nearly 40 FFS. killahmatic
Houser is the name of GTA but a lot of people are a part of it. It could continue without Houser, but whose to say we even get 2 more games after V.. you just never know.. Play every GTA like its the last
LotusRIP
Dan Houser could squeeze out that GTA XIV when he's 79... maybe...

Adriaan
I'm sorry, but, this is very inappropriate and depressing. Forgetting the fact that you are naive to make claims like that about future technology and how fast it'll grow over the next 50 years, it's definitely not cool at all to be talking about these kind of things. Because The Beatles died with John Lennon, and Nirvana died with Kurt Cobain... etc. It's how creative teams work. These are musical bands.
