I was the same at first - all these magazines telling us they had some new stuff, yet it was just the same recycled sh*t. I suppose it was pretty obvious that that would happen. But looking back, I'm fairly glad. I honestly want nothing more than a few screens from here on out. I've got my release window, protagonist confirmation, and a second trailer. The reason i say this is because rockstar told us that in November we would be getting loads of information but in truth we got 1 week of information (which was amazing btw) what disappointing me was that i expected information to be given by rockstar directly on their site not many different publications giving us the same story over and over again with rare new details.All of these stories where just worded differently and this confused me at some parts because one magazine said we could do this and another said they saw that, for example when game informer described Trevor lighting the truck on fire i wasn't sure if they meant that the tester did this on his own free will or that it was a mini mission. Personally i loved the new trailer it was just what we needed to kick start a ''month of GTA V'' What i did not like was the many screenshots of the helicopter flying over the city at different angles or locations in the city they became stale quickly, i understand rockstar cant just show us the whole map at one time. i enjoyed the 10 screenshots we got in august much more because they were varied and showed us different locations, more than half of the 50+ pics are shot in the city which is great but im not going to spend 100% of the time there if the map is truly big then you should be able to show us nice key parts without revealing any major landmarks ( for example the giant chicken from SA) My last complaint is i wish all of these magazines had spread themselves apart because we got all of the magazines ( apart from game informer) on the Monday and the rest of the week screenshots. if information had been spread out throughout the month i would still be hyped right now but im not, don't get me wrong im going to buy this game and play it for years to come im just critisizing how the supposed month of info went down. How do you guys feel? Did you enjoy how it went down or would you change a few things? Please dont comment just to insult me because this is just my opinion (even if you think its stupid) im sorry for the grammar and spelling mistakes english isnt my first language You got a ton of information. I feel that how they've handled news and game info is smart and whether or not they give us information we're all going to break down and buy the game. Because well how bad can it honestly be? It's f*cking GTA. Plus they don't want to tell us everything new that they've changed about it otherwise we already know what to expect and it's just another GTA to some people and they lose money. So you being dispointed quite honestly I don't give any f*cks about how you feel and why you're dispointed. That being said if I don't you know Rockstar gives even less f*cks about it than I. They're the pros and know what they're doing. Actually it looks pretty damn intelligent to me. Everyones complaining. Brainstorming ideas. Everyone is interested in the game and crave more and more and more info about it theres just never enough. So why should they give you that info and lose money to hardcore critics? They won't IMO. This week of info was solid for just under a year between the time from trailer #1 and the heli+pond screens. WEEKS went by on the GTA V section where all we were talking about was steak, and f*cking PC requirements. It was a mental hospital in this place and now we just are waiting for more hype.
