Wierd, that doesn't seem to work for me, even after save-exit-launch-load procedure, maybe matter of other .asi mods i use or something, ...anyway trails are not so "MUST HAVE" at least as for me so i won't cry wink.gif

What EXE do you have? Is your SET file still gta_vc.set?

Why this trails effect work only with original timecyc? I was hoping to combine vcs timecyc mod and trails effect, but trails not working with different timecyc except original confused.gif

Since it's possible to alter trails via timecyc.dat, I'd blame particular timecycle sets for that.

I don't think that's true. There was once a plugin which allowed trails in San Andreas.

Another excellent plugin SilentPL, perhaps you could look at emulating the blood/rain screen effects from VC in SA? Regardless, I'll be using this alongside your reflection fix

The only thing that I know of that could be remotely close to the trails, is the Anamorphic Flare; that was injected into ColorMod by Marty McFly.

I don't want to bump this topic but I have a question:

 

Could you please fix this issue:

When using MVL and the trails.asi the trails-fx gets bugged.

There's no more color correction at all and the haze effect is bugged as you can see in the picture (the black bars).

 

When using SAiVC, like in the picture, I get this result.

When using GTA:LC or GTA:VC there are weird things going on in the screen.

 

I know that MVL tweaks the engine heavily but maybe it is possible to fix it.

I like the light effects from the trails but is there a way to remove the blur that it has that thing that looks like motion blur it makes lag the game.

Answering an almost two years old message? Anyway you're wrong as well. The 'trails' (which isn't trails obviously) in San Andreas are the 'radiosity' effect from the PS2 version and already ported to skygfx.

Trails are enabled if the .asi is placed directly in VC root folder and always (withing every launch of the game) disabled when .asi is in the scripts folder.
