Capricornus
I doubt we will be able to make the hood go up and down, for the protagonists may not care about the engine condition. As for the roof, who knows.
jregi1
my guess is that it opens during the day, closes at night and closes when it rains automatically. i hope that theres a button allocated to the mechanic, like the headlights in GTA IV. EDIT: R* arent silly, they will mostly likely make it player controlled

GRINCH ASS BITCH
I doubt we will be able to make the hood go up and down, for the protagonists may not care about the engine condition. As for the roof, who knows. Erm...what? There's a difference between a roof and a hood. Anyway, someone should tweet this question to one of the GI editors, since a lot of people are still unsure about it. They answered the question about Trevor being able to light things on fire at will, so maybe they will give us some closure on whether or not the retractable roof is player controlled. Trund
The upper key from the D-Pad was never assigned to anything, was it? So they still have one button left for things.

I thought that was for the phone? Either way, I agree that the D-pad could be utilized, similar to the system that they have in Test Drive Unlimited. Pressing Up (or Down, doesn't really matter) on the D-pad would bring up a small menu that would allow you to raise/lower the windows and roof, turn the lights on/off, etc. Would be nice. Oh yeah I think you're right. It was the down key then, I think it only zoomed out the map or something, which to me was always a completely useless feature.... But they could also differently assign such keys, like holding down D-Pad down, and then pushing another button for some car systems.

Supacoupe
Maybe the push button feature in the toggles on PS3 could be used to control that (the other one not used for the horn?) . I would hate to have a down pour of rain with the top down and no way to put up the top. I swear one of the screenshots has the top still up? Wasn't that the one where Franklin is giving the figure? Also I thought that they mentioned these were functioning convertibles, so I would think that meant control features. Wait and see I guess. Fair enough, but then you've probably never heard of "kelt" or a "tenfoot"... the point of English is that as a nation of immigrants the language in the UK is extremely dialectial.
