Corndawg93
I was reading a topic and a thought occurred to me. XBOX really doesn't have many exclusive IPs especially when compared to PS3 and Nintendo. Nintendo has had there exclusives for years while Sony really stepped it up with developing new IPs this generation. XBOX started strong but many of them have since gone multiplatform. It's not necessarily a bad thing per say but I think microsoft really needs to step it's game up next gen Nintendo: Mario Zelda Smash Bros Metroid Kirby Pikmin Mario Kart Donkey Kong Yoshi Sony: God of War Killzone SOCOM Resistance Little Big Planet Uncharted Infamous Gravity Rush Wipeout Rachet & Clank Jak & Daxter Sly Cooper Heavy Rain Gran Turismo The Last of Us Beyond: Two Souls Demon Souls Yakuza Agent Playstation All Stars Battle Royale Microsoft: Halo Forza Fable Gears of War Saints Row 1 Crackdown Minecraft Left for Dead Edited November 27, 2012 by billy james
Master of San Andreas
Also the only popular exclusive is Halo which is not enough. An Open-World game like GTA for the 360 as an exclusive will boost it up just like inFAMOUS on PS3.
Ash_735
Take Metal gear Solid off that list as it's now considered a Multi Platform series, with MGS HD Collection being on both Xbox 360 and PS3 and the upcoming ground Zeroes being on Xbox 360 and PS3 (with possible PC release) as well as Metal Gear Rising also being an Xbox 360 and PS3 title. The ONLY exclusive has been MGS4 on the PS3.
Tycek
In times like this when development is more expensive then ever, game publishers have to take compromises, so they usually decide to go multiplatform. Sony secured few of the developing companies by inhaling them, when M$ decided to not to. It's not like Sony owns all these exclusives you listed in first post, because many of these are dead (Killzone - after not so good reception of third part and finishing the story game is ended, SOCOM - studio making this game was closed, Jak & Daxter are dead, MGS went multiplatform as Ash said, Insomniac - developer of Ratchet and Clank is going multiplatform as well). It's better way to publish your game on every possible hardware, including smartphones to maximize profit.
Ps3blaze22
Killzone - after not so good reception of third part and finishing the story game is ended. That is not true, i'm 100% sure we will get a Killzone 4 on PS4, quote me on this one.

Cosmic Gypsy
Also, add Flatout to the list of XBox exclusive, damn i wish that was on the PS3. Oh yeah, and of course Heavy Rain and Gran Turismo for PS3.
Seddo
Also, add Flatout to the list of XBox exclusive, damn i wish that was on the PS3. Very frustrating at times but still a great little racer. I suppose you could also add Project Gotham Racing, Crackdown, Ninety Nine Nights and Viva Pinata to Microsoft's list. But yeah Microsoft started very strong with exclusive titles but some went multi-platform and some never got sequels so they certainly dried up. It just seems that Microsoft's main concern now is to concentrate on making first party Kinect games which is why for two straight E3's in a row they've pretty much had eff all worth showing. vertical limit
Please correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't EFLC Xbox exclusive for around half a year?
Tycek
BoGT was xbox exclusive for half or year, and TLaD was exclusive for whole year. And since we seem to listing all the exclusives Saints Row, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Too Human, Dead or Alive and Banjo Kazooie should be on Xbox list. Tyler
Xbox doesn't draw it's strength from exclusive IPs like PC and PS3, though. It's very good with ports from PC (unlike PS3) and it's still got an easy to pick up and play system for the more casual players (unlike PC). Having exclusive games isn't really a big deal for Microsoft - aside from the DLCs of popular games.

WHAT!?
I remember PS3 owners had to wait quite a while to get Mass Effect 2 on their console. They still don't have Mass Effect 1. So if PC isn't a consideration here then the original Mass Effect is an Xbox 360 exclusive.

Blackadder.
Seeing as how Gears of War and Alan Wake are considered 'console exclusive' I'm guessing it means exclusive to that console plus a PC port/version. 'Exclusive' means it's only available on that particular console, so in reality that's the group we should be comparing (basically a lot of 360 exclusives have been ported to PC compared to PS3). So PS3 still has more exclusives.

The reason Xbox 360 has 82 is because it has a ton of exclusive indie games on XBLA, unlike PSN. There is 284 PS3 exclusives that aren't available on any other platform. http://www.avsforum.com/t/858296/list-of-t...inually-updated Edited November 27, 2012 by Gtaghost22
