mistamatrix
... I am running GTAIV on my i3 2.2ghz dual core with Intel HD3000 graphics Got 8GB RAM and a Crucial m4 SSD so it's not all bad and the game is surprisingly playable. I've waiting this long to play and now put a good 10 hours in and really enjoying it.

mistamatrix
It's not perfect but it's definitely playable, between 12 and 15 fps. Sorry for the video quality, I couldn't use fraps cos it dropped the frame rate too much so used my Android phone instead. http://youtu.be/sGArLANgudU http://youtu.be/vlCTEVK3yJ4 Using -safemode, -width 640 and height 480 perhaps? Using the following commands since the HD3000 has only 128MB but can draw up to 1700MB (ish) -norestriction-nomemrestrict-availablevidmem 3.0-percentvidmem 100 Running at my TV and laptops native 1366 x 768, I couldn't enjoy it at any less. I dont call 12-15 fps playable lol Well it is for me, I've played about 20 hours and enjoying the story and game. If it was really so bad I'd not be playing it but it's just on the line of being okay. I'm not upgrading my laptop so this is my only option.
