ThisIsHorosho
Paris is in Europe so... GTA Europe means a GTA based around 3 or more cities in Europe so for instance London, Amsterdam and Paris. Moscow? no thanks... London, Paris and Italy - be my guest!...but let me tell you i'm not as thrilled to play free roam open world game , set in a city outside US...i just don't like European cities in general, in my opinion they're boring...US is where all the fun!... Trund
put my bet on GTA: VICE CITY Please not. While I loved GTA VC, there's barely anything around the real Miami. You'll have a lame countryside without any mountains or anything fun again, that's just totally boring. I would actually like to see them doing a game based on Europe, or something. Like a miniature version, that'd actually be pretty cool, but most likely extremely difficult to make as well.

FranticFatality
GTA 6 Is obviously gonna be in vice city so what will be after that is what im saying los venturas would be pretty cool Yes, it is obviously going to be set in Vice City next. You don't know jank It's not obvious.
DS 17
I seriously doubt it. The next direction might be a city never done before like Chicago. Could be true, there will be so many possibilities with the next generation, the countryside of Chicago, the forests and so on. But I really hope the next GTA will also be somewhere in the South and not in the cold North like Chicago is. I want to play a GTA with palms like Miami or somewhere in South America maybe. jdrandall38
Even though I think it is time for a new country this is what I think 'GTA: VI' will be set in: A re-imagined "Florida" and a cities that include: Vice City (Miami) Tampa Bay Orlando New Orleans (Yes I know its in Louisiana, but this would probably be Rockstars only time to remake this city)

ForumName
For GTA VI Vice city is a given...Get it VIce city? Ehem, anyway. After that I think it would be amazing if they did New Orleans.....Mainly because I live here. Aside for that I would love for a full scale Las Vegas with casinos, escort services and all. Chicago would be to much like liberty city Chicago too much like LC? Do you know anything about cities? You keep getting upset about Chicago... I know you love Chicago, and so do I but off course everyone knows its not the exact same city, but it's just the vibe that will be a bit the same. Both cold big dynamic city's. If you look at the LA and New York, it's something way more different. Vibe, culture, weather, people... That's why I don't think they will use chicago already after their Liberty City adventures. Just too soon..
AtomicPunk
I hope not. I would like to see GTA London or Vice City. If not them then at least something not based in the US. GTA will fail if it is ever taken outside the U.S.. Besides, Dan & Sam both have said it will never happen. GTA is driven by American culture. If it does, me and many millions of others won't buy it, and that I can gaurantee. I don't think GTA 6 will be Vice City either. Too predictable. That's when, I think, we'll get several new cities, next-gen style. Truth is, they probably have already started on it because I think the new dev tools came out a while ago ;p

GTA London was done back on the PS1 but was an expansion pack. I don't see how you could say millions of people wouldn't buy the game if it wasn't done inside the US, theres much more to the world than the same places over and over again. lakingsfan
Philadelphia as the main city and Atlantic City (would satisfy gamblers and it's geographically possible)? Of course, like I said before, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami and Las Vegas are my best bet for now. Edited November 27, 2012 by lakingsfan
ccrogers15
I seriously doubt it. The next direction might be a city never done before like Chicago. God I hope so. Chicago would be so f*cking fun with the bridges that rise up in the river downtown. Chicago = Saints Row 1 and 2... Um no. Saints row 1 and 2 is a detroit parody. This is proven by the official Q&A. TOTAL VIDEO GAMES: Please expand on the locale/s in the game; is it based around a real world setting and could you run through a number of the situations the player can engage in his quest for respect and progression? VOLITION: We decided early on that Stilwater was going to be a fictious city set in the state of Michigan. http://www.totalvideogames.com/Saints-Row/...re-8822.html%7C
digital31
GTA VI will be released on the on the Playstation 4 and Xbox 720. It will be Rockstar's biggest, most ambitious GTA to date. They will return to Vice City as well as the whole state of Florida...Complete with 4 Major Cities ....Vice City (Miami) , Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville 4 Minor Cities Pensacola/Panama City, Daytona Beach, Naples and Key West. As well as countryside and Everglade Swamp lands in between and the Florida Keys. A rendition of Disney World, Cape Canaveral Space Center, Daytona Beach Speedway, And the Gulf Coastal Region. You will be able to take a flight or drive between all the locations. Cultural Regions will be included as the Northern Part of the playing area being more indicative of traditional southern living, conservative and the Southern Part of the state being more Latin influenced and liberal. This is why they didn't do the whole state of San Andreas. If you look at it , Rockstar is keeping in line with the same routine as it did with GTA III generation. Remember GTA III Vice City was only just a city. Rockstar is just keeping things fresh. This time they will do the state of Florida for their 3rd GTA of this generation. zeppelincheetah
watch it be Vice City for VI, Las Venturras for VII and San Fierro for VIII... luongo01
What we need is GTA: Canada- with Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. - Montreal can be that historical city with crazy French people and a corrupt government. - Toronto will be like Liberty City of Canada. - Vancouver would be like a port city with a lot of immigrants. ( Just wishful thinking. I think Canada might be too similar to the US and a lot more boring.) I would like Vice City next, and then a combination of cities that for sure included Las Venturas and other random ones.

London would be a great setting for a GTA if it was set in the 90s or beforehand, because there was a load of nightlife, guns blazing and cars chasing back then. City also has a lot of variety as well, they could combine a lot of parts of the city. It would be a much better city to look at than GTAIV's Liberty City if done right (loved Liberty City though, and I'm not bashing New York, since Liberty City didn't have a lot of areas and such from New York)
The Notorious MOB
Vice City is DEFINATELY next, no doubts about it. If they do Vice City then they will have to include the whole of Miami-Dade County with sh*t loads of interiors in order to match up to the size of GTA V. Grand Chef Toto
I don't know about GTA VI, but I know I'll probably get fed up with GTA games if they choose to carry on with the city-centric approach. Don't get me wrong, I'm pumped about GTA V (I wouldn't be here otherwise), but only because of the countryside/desert. Like in SA. IMHO, if Rockstar wants to keep selling GTA games after GTA V, they need to start thinking about more ambitious maps. (Why not a GTA : USA for the next generation of consoles... )
