I seriously doubt it. The next direction might be a city never done before like Chicago.

Out of all the colors, you chose the one that is easily the most irritating to have to read.

Is this better for you?

Hi,

Here's a short summary of the GTA

series locations that we have so far

(and as good as i can remember):

- GTA III: Liberty City (New York City) / East Coast

- GTA Vice City: Vice City (Miami) / East Coast

- GTA San Andreas: Los Santos (Los Angeles), San Francisco (San Fierro), Las Vegas (Las Venturas) / West Coast

- GTA IV: Liberty City (New York City), Alderney (a mix of cities in New Jersey like Newark, Jersey City, etc) / East Coast

- GTA V: Los Santos (Los Angeles) / West Coast

... (now my predictions)

- GTA VI: Vice City (Miami) / East Coast

- GTA VII: San Fierro (San Francisco) / West Coast

- GTA VIII: ............. (Chicago) / Midwest

We can assume we'll be done a certain time with LS and LC since they have been done 2 times each

So yes, Vice City. Why? I personnally haven't played

it, but as Rockstar are going to give

their cities better rendition, I think they could include in it

the everglades and set the game in the present day.

For San Fierro, it would be interesting if they would recreate

all the bay area and northern california so we get a lot of

environment: cities ( San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Sacramento),

countryside and wilderness (Napa valley for the wine; the bay itself for

water, bridges, sharks, alcatraz island; Muir Woods for the mountains

and the giant trees ( sequoias); the silicon valley (technologies industry);

It would also procure very different weather conditions (sun in SJ, rain and

and wind in SF; there is also a possibility of earthquakes with the San Andreas

fault).

I saw others suggesting Chicago. Why not? I would love it since there is a lot of

architecture and skyscrapers. The Chicago river cross the downtown area and

loop (elevated subway) is right in the financial district. Michigan lake, millenium

park, navy pier and the suburbs give also different environments.

Seattle and the surrounding forests.

Meh, not a fan of that place, but it's got everything though:

A big city, forests, mountains(lots of them), snow, rivers.

But it's kind of boring and depressing to me.

San Diego anybody?

colgate.gif Yes. But that may be in V.

Its been confirmed Los Santos is the only big city in the game, either theyre lying to give us a huge surprise like never before in Gta history. I think we will see vice city and san diego in the next gta's.

What i don't understand is that Las Venturas and San Fierro are set to be in the state of San Andreas while GTA V SA's doesn't include it but SF AND LV were mentioned in GTA IV HD universe

San Diego anybody?

I don't think it's gonna be next one because they are doing the SoCal,but it could be interesting in another one. Since GTA is a crime game, the border San Diego/Tijuana would provide a lot with the drugs and illegal immigrants.

They'll leave clues in V; like in IV, they mentioned SA(all of it's cities and the state itself) a lot in TV and Radio

After thinking about it i agree, im sure they will use it in a future game though(:

Shame really, Kinda Bored of America to be honest. A few more GTA and it will feel recycled.... Its just dry now. They need to be brave and take it elsewhere. Maybe Cuba, Mexico, London, Rio de Janiero, Somewhere else. Or we can have Sony Start working on Getaway again. America is the same old satire every GTA.

I strongly disagree.

Though I'd like an HD London, none of the GTA's feel alike. At all imo.

I respect your opinion, but GTA is a parody of America that's what makes it unique and so fun to play. Changing the setting would break that atmosphere.

Although Rockstar could recreate other cities in Europe, Southern America, Asia or anywhere else perfectly, it wouldn't be GTA. It's all about making fun of the omnipresent crime, violence, money, terrorism, entertainment industry, that are iconic to the USA. It's about the excess and the craziness in america. Darn I love capitalism! I don't how to describe it. Anyway, that's just my opinion.

Vice city, bet on it. Everytime they redo a city its because they "didn't do it good enough" Vice city was puny

GTA 6 Is obviously gonna be in vice city so what will be after that is what im saying los venturas would be pretty cool

Yes, it is obviously going to be set in Vice City next.

You don't know jank

I sure hope so. Las Venturas alone without other cities would be boring. Just like Vegas in real life – boring. And I'm not even kidding. Every time I go to Vegas (I'm from Finland) I swear I'm not going back there again. 2–3 nights are enough and then I'm just full of the whole "Vegas, baby" sh*t. suicidal.gif

It's sooooo glamorous when you see it on tv and in movies, but in real it's just dirty Mexicans shoving escort service business cards down your throat, The Strip that's nearly impossible to walk, old people in casinos, everyone smoking everywhere, 30k millionaires... There are things I like, like the Forum Shops at Ceasars Palace, outlets, breakfast buffets. Hotels are dirt cheap, buuut then again everything costs extra. Even the wifi costs money, and it doesn't come cheap.

And if you ever decide to stay in Vegas, avoid Luxor hotel. sh*ttiest hotel ever. Since it's a shape of a pyramid, walking across the lobby takes over 5 minutes through cigarette smoke and drunken douchebags. suicidal.gif

Detroit, New Orleans, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, Atlanta would be nice cities to include in GTA or maybe Santo Domingo ( awwwww yeaaa ) , London, San Juan, Mexico City, Moscow, & all of Kuwait if we ever get foreign cities

Chicago or Philly/Balitmore for GTA 6 Next Gen

Definitely Philly or Baltimore. Philly is so highly diverse economically, culturally and racially that you could probably implement any type of storyline there and it'd work and make sense. Baltimore is also a really good idea and I'm sure they could draw some inspiration from The Wire if they decided to.

I'm praying for vice city to be the next one. I want a updated version of Miami, i can only imagine, with the twists of vice city brought into present day Miami, it would be one hellacious game.

Logically, VC would probably be the next choice. They redid LC from III, and now they're redoing LS from SA, so unless the next one is LV or SF you can bet it'll be VC as those are the most interesting places in America with the most potential. As for whether it'll be in the 80's again, that's up for debate, but most likely not.

God I hope so. Chicago would be so f*cking fun with the bridges that rise up in the river downtown.

Chicago = Saints Row 1 and 2...

Stillwater isn't based off chicago..it's got some elements but its mainly detroit and baltimore with some elements from kansas.

steelport is based off chicago, in saints row the third

Guys, trust me, it's NOT gonna be Philly or Baltimore. They have to think globally. I mean people outside North America don't usually know lots of stuff about Philly, Baltimore and cities like that. It pretty much has to be a major city known for its landmarks, builings, bridges or such. That's why the possible cities are Miami, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Detroit, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago. GTA: Baltimore? Umm what?

Vice City was a huge hit so I'm pretty sure that's the place we're gonna see again.

Not even. I want Rockstar authenticity.

...also Chicago is going to be the setting of one of the most anticipated games of 2013th - Watchdogs... dozingoff.gif ...R* would be third in recreating Chicago city in a free roam open world! and we all know they don't like being copycats, even though they make cities look different from each other...

2013? We can expect GTA 6 info 6 years from now.
