CLEO map?

Hello. I'm going to cut right to the chase here. In Dutchy3010's "Player Changer" mod, there is a folder or file which is called "Cleo map". And why does it say "Example:Cruise". Exact text:

 

 

First you have to install CLEO. You can download it here. Also install the gxthook: download gxthook.cleo (you can also download it here, on the right) and put that in the cleo folder. Then make a folder called "CLEO_TEXT". There are 2 files youneed to move in the package.First there is a .cs file, you have to put that in the cleo map (for example: cruise). Then there is a .fxt file, you have to put that in the CLEO_TEXT folder (for example: cruise.fxt).

 

Could anyone help me with this? Thank you.

 

EDIT: Yes I have CLEO 4 and I also have the v1.0 of the GTA game.

There should be a "Playerchanger.fxt" and a "Playerchanger.cs" in the mod, Add the Playerchanger.fxt to CLEO_TEXT and add the Playerchanger.cs to the CLEO folder

Thanks it works! Now I have to find out how to add the skin files. They are .ddf and .txd.

Ok, the Player changer works but allowing you to change into any PED so you are going to have to replace ped skins

 

If you are unsure how to do this just ask

Ok, Here it goes!

 

 

First: How

Second: So the skin would never show up, could I put it as dead characters like ryder or smoke so I could select it without seeing people like that walking around dressed up in my skins.

Third: Can I dress up as those people

Fourth: Why cant I move after I select my skin

First to make it easy to find the ped you want to change i recommend using Ped Editor, you can get that here > http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-san...reas/tools/1204 this will show you the ped ID's

 

now open "gta3.img" using IMGTool and find the ped you want to replace and simply replace that ped with whatever ped mod skin you like

 

You can also be characters like Big Smoke, Ryder....

 

After you have selected the ped you want to be press the "Sprint" key, DONE

YEA IT WORKS! Only one problem... It now says GTA SA has stopped working. When I replace mad dog's files and delete them... it crashes when i boot up the game. why? This is the last question i swear!

I'm not to sure why but i don't recommend replacing Sub Characters like Madd Dogg, Sweet.... hope you have made a back-up of Madd Dogg but it could be because the skin you installed on Madd Dogg is corupt or something, try installing a different skin on Madd Dogg see if that works if not just replace him with his original skin

 

You also said "When I replace mad dog's files and delete them" It's best not to delete NPC files in the gta3.img as this can cause a crash
