Yeah, but he wasn't talking about GTA games, he was talking about futuristic games. Anyway, if you haven't already played it, you should definitely get Red Faction: Guerrilla. Like a Looper-ish future without time travel or "TK" (flying vehicles are still extremely expensive and super-rare). The idea behind it would be projecting where a GTA world would continue forward on the path we're currently on, and providing satire from that point of view. But that's still quite a bit of a stretch. Certainly they wouldn't be doing a Star Trek style sci-fi universe in GTA, that would have to be some other franchise. ThisIsHorosho Posted November 25, 2012 Share Posted November 25, 2012 ...in my opinion R* should just create another free roam universe/world other than GTA, that would be sci-fi/future oriented!...this just should happen in my opinion! they created wild west kind of GTA in a face of RDR, they created gangster mafia 30-40's GTA in a face of L.A.Noire (alright they're not original creators, but still...), so this is just screams "sci-fi/futuristic open world free roam experience" probably with flying cars (aka fifth element, plasma and laser guns etc...might as well have this cyber-punk feel to it, similar to games like Deus Ex... We have GTA 2, and besides, you can mod your games to make them more futuristic.
