Coolstream
So, what would you like - about 4 - 5 of the same cars around you, or a game that crashes and lags? .. yeah, thought so. I'd rather my game crash as well.. f*cking cars. I want 4-5 of the same cars, but not a single one should be the same to what I'm currently driving at that time. P33-es-P33
It's something I had gotten used to and liked in GTA games as long as it was a rare occurrence, but GTA IV took it to a whole new level where you could see a whole street filled with parked copies of your car. They should keep it like the other GTA's where you would occasionally see another person drive the same car, NOT see your car driven and parked at every street corner. Like some people have said, they could easily fix this issue by having the other cars that were loaded be parked instead of countless copies of your own car. NikoBellicGTAIV
It's not realistic, but it's nice. Let's say i want a rare care with a certain color, i just find that sort of car(can take ages) and then drive until i find the on want. No it isn’t its bad believe me Am I the only one who wants this guy to shut up? Who cares if this rare car spawns everywhere when you take it? It's not bad, it's not excellent, it doesn't affect you. Bantri
At least if you crash your rare car, you can get another fairly easily. But I agree, it doesn't look right if 1/10th of cars in LA are the Audi R8 looking thing just because you are driving one.
suicidehummer
Lol cmon people, its an easy fix, there are already 5 or so different cars that spawn at once, so all they have to do is take the car youre driving out of that spawn list. This would save memory if anything you silly fools!

tenpennyisplainevil
The game loads like 3-4 cars at a time. My problem with it is that 70% of the cars that appear is my car. All I want is a roughly equal percentage so I won't see a traffic hold up with only one type of vehicle in it with a few taxis.
GhostFase64
I'm pretty sure the main reason why we still have this problem is due to the PS3's inferior hardware, if it wasn't for Sony fooling around with foolish technology no one needs, we would be having every car on screen. Unfortunate how the PS3 is still holding the PC and XBOX 360 back... Oh Well...

Dear x Sergio
I understand that the limitations are the sole reason behind this, but I don't understand why your current vehicle must be duplicated. If the game can load, say, 10 vehicles at any given time (including yours), each vehicle would theoretically be responsible for 10% of the spawns. Thing is, you're gonna notice if your Infernus is suddenly being driven by 10% of the population. I think it'd be much better if your vehicle would almost never be duplicated, but rather have the other 9 vehicles take up 11%. That's hardly a noticeable difference for the other vehicles, while ensuring that yours won't be seen everywhere. I guess you're gonna have the static vehicles like ambulances, taxis, police cars etc. pop up as well, so I don't know. This would probably force more vehicle duplication concerning pedestrian vehicles, so maybe if different places had signature vehicle types (rich, poor, country etc.), it wouldn't be so bad. I just wish it wasn't your vehicle.

Sony clearly have no idea what they are doing. It's quite sad to see the go from 1st to 3rd place.

packardcaribien
First, there have been oodles of threads about this, I know, I've answered to most of them and created one of them. Second, Yes, this is very annoying. I understand why code limits ten or so vehicles or whatever to being spawned, but I would say that the spawn should not have anything to do with what car you are driving. In GTA IV and older games, each vehicle had a set of vehicles that driving it would spawn. I suggest and hope for GTA V and on; vehicles spawns rely just on neighborhood and not your vehicle. Poor neighborhoods should have 10 beaters and pimp wagons that spawn whenever you are there, rich neighborhoods should have 10 different luxury/sports cars. That way you don't see your car everywhere and you can go to an appropriate neighborhood to find a car you are looking for. It's not perfect, but its better. Third, that street in Bohan does it way worse than everywhere else - the spawn code must have been an afterthought.

Algonquin Assassin
It's funny in a way. You spend all this time looking for a particular car and when you do everyone has one. In GTA IV that particular part of Bohan seems to be a prime spot for clumping. Don't remember anywhere else being quite as bad though.
Ben73
I know it's annoying, but I reckon it will happen in V as well. That street from the picture on the first page was always the worst for it in IV. I remember getting a car, driving down that street which was packed and every single parked car was the same as mine. It's stupid.

Scumbag Banshees everywhere That is spawn street and no other area in the game is that bad. This discussion has been had before and I think the reasoning behind it is that you can lose your car easily and get it back easily. When I first started playing IV I'd flip the rs sultan before I even got it out of the grass area by the burger shot, so it was nice that SOMETIMES I'd see another one across the street and didn't have to travel out of the area to come back to a freshly spawned rs sultan behind the garage. It really does help more than it hinders.
meson1
I do tend to take advantage of that area in South Bohan. I'll keep my rare car at the South Bohan safehouse. Then when I want one, instead of just taking the one rare car, I just take it for a short drive down the East Borough Bridge, return to South Bohan, park up at the safe house and then grab one of the many spawned models of that car. However, that said, South Bohan is supposed to be one of the poorest neighbourhoods in Liberty City, so how all the residents can seemingly suddenly afford Infernuses and what have you does look very strange. It is caused by memory limitations. The only reason it also occurs on PC which have far more memory than the consoles is because Rockstar seem to try to keep the various versions of the same game in line with each other so that they all behave the same. Most cross platform games have been built on the 360, therefore they are better on 360 as the PS3 gets ports. I've noticed how much PS3 users hate Bethesda, but they don't seem to realise that they just couldn't make Skyrim that good on PS3. Thats due to the console itself being a sh*t to work with. This is known, very well.
Clem Fandango
Am I the only one who likes being able to grab a new infernus when I roll mine over in a ball of flames?
