I think would of changed my vote to a yes, no. I wasn't sure earlier, but after remembering that Mt. Chiliad is still called Mt. Chiliad, I'd say that Grove St. could most almost maybe definitely make an appearance.

There could be a street named Grove street. If there is, it absolutely wont look anything alike SA, and none of the houses will be the same, or even similar.

 

With that being said, 100% of us who buy the game will still check it out at some point.

How often does a former gang related street get re modeled? Gang activity still exists to this day? So grove street being completely different or non existent is out of the question for me. Knowing R* knows how much we enjoyed and loved Gta Sa, i dont think they will take it as far as not giving us Grove street. Grove street is every childs neighborhood thats played gta sa and i dont think they will take that away from us. Im sure we will see it in the game but who knows, im surprised this wasnt a question thats been asked to dan or any of the Q&A's-.-

As others have stated, it'll most likely be an easter egg. Maybe a subtle reference via random pedestrian dialogue, or some graffiti. I doubt it'd be a physical location within the game, but I'm sure people will try their hardest to look for it. If it is physically on the map, there's no way it'd play any sort of role in the story or anything like that. The main point here is that I feel it'll be nothing major, just a nod to it for fans of San Andreas. It'd be comparable to how you could get Claude's outfit in IV or something, maybe.

There will be a Grove st in the game even if its not highlighted and holds no significance as far as there being missions on it or having it tied in with the game it will still be there. Of course it will be modernized and look different just like your old neighborhood in real life would after about 2 decades of time passing.

Grove Street was so special. It's the only GTA where you feel apart of a community. It was like a home. You lived by your buddies, you had a big garage, with stuff like shops near by. Your homies hung around smoking weed and drinking beer.

Hmm, maybe as a easter egg. The only thing that has me thinking no, is what Dan Houser said. I would quote him, just don't know where to find it. It was something along the line of it will be like San Andreas didn't exist at all. Someone had said that Ganton was confirmed... So at this moment 50/50 I guess.

 

And if Ganton has been confirmed, I would like a link if someone could find it for me.
