GTAV360Philly
I know GTA 5 is supposed to be a living breathing world, but I'm worried it won't have the key elements of a living, breathing world. I wanna see different malls, restaurants, shopping centers, movie theaters, little stores in hoods, and stuff like that. I just want to see a lot of interiors. Another thing would be if we could initiate robberies/heists on our own as a side mission or something.
SheHePaedo
Yep. Love to see escalators back and glass lifts (fit for a horse anyone?) Vice was the only game we could go into the malls right?
ThisIsHorosho
there WILL be a lot of interiors! and its not my assumptions its a FACT! if you read the article you'd know what i'm trying to say by that...
NiklasDKSalkin
What I want is the ability to get into a big store, like a Walmart, with a car and a smg. Then just drive around and crash into the shelves and kill people, and then get out of there when it's all messed up.

I wouldn't say that them mentioning the word "interiors" is sufficient proof. It proves that there WILL be interiors, no sh*t, but how many is still up for speculation (what we are doing here). Considering that GTA SA had a mall, though, be as undetailed as it was, I'm sure we'll have lots of places to rob with dynamic missions and lots of places to sit down and watch a parody of Twilight ("Nightlight", anyone?) in a theater, or relax underneath a palm tree in a mall courtyard and so on. Rockstar knows how to make things better as they move along; they wouldn't miss out on this.

rare.steak
It's a hyperbole. We won't get anything much more than living breathing gardeners.

FidelityNy
Movie theaters? So people could pull off fake massacres? GTA gives us all enough bad ideas, God forbid someone goes psychotic after a few months with GTA. I like the suggestions though, but not too crazy about specifics. Just make more buildings available, even random houses that we don't utilize in missions, just to add some entertainment to the multiplayer. I admit I do miss malls, just remove the horrible music that played in Vice City.

Thecrazypolak
I want to see it, i always did. But we won't see it... yes we will have the ocasional clothing stores, gun stores exct. I'm just saying people are getting their hopes up so much for this game and i don't really want it all to be crushed when gta comes out. not saying its going to be bad it will be great. for now im just neutral about the game, I don't want to get my hopes up and then be a little disappointed. H. León
Yes! The mall in VC is by far the best interior I've seen in GTA.

killahmatic
Vice City's mall was pretty fun, even if it was mostly useless. I know R* could make a great one at this point, with usable restaurants, fast food, clothing stores, shoe stores, and more. side note: I hate when interiors only exist for a specific mission, and when the mission is over, they're gone. Rather than movie theaters that you walk into, it could be similar to previous games where when you walk through the door into the particular theater room, it goes to a quick cutscene showing you walking to a seat and sitting down. Plus there could be a mechanic similar to walking to the airport in GTA:VC where it takes your weapons and you can get them back once you go outside. As far as what's playing in the theater, I do like the idea of short movie parodies similar to the TV shows in IV.
Supacoupe
With the new concentration now on heist and the almighty dollar, having more places to enter is an almost certainty to happen. That with the dynamic mission should ensure that most of us will explore and find different experiences. I want to rob a tool shop in a small town (with Trevor) and hold up in the back (shopkeeper as a human shield of course) until the town sheriff with his Ford Bronco style vehicle pulls up. Can anyone say stand off!!!
GTAV360Philly
I wanna see some good hoods too with little chinese stores and puerto rican stores we can buy 50 cent honeybuns from to keep the realism lol

Death2Drugs
Malls and restaurants you say? LA is filled with them! I'd actually like to see these types of stores on nearly every corner, like real-life LA. I'm dead serious.
xWH1T30UTx
As far as interiors go, there's plenty of possibilities. With the game revolving around money, I'm sure Rockstar could parody a Wal-Mart or something. A shopping mall would be great too; I loved them in Vice City. Durden
Maybe how Michael's wife (Amanda?) said she's going shopping, that could be a clue to shopping malls with interiors in GTAV.
Kifflom112
I definitely cannot wait for the different restaurant interiors. Los Angeles is full of tons of lavish and glamorous restaurants, and I really would like to see quite a few more than in IV. Hell, and the countryside: there should be roadside diners and bars and random beat up chain restaurants, most to all enter able. It would be awesome to get all kinds of restaurants and it is possible. Can't wait.
GTAV360Philly
Yes. This is what I want to see. I really don't want Rockstar to give us generic restaurants and shopping centers. There should be a variety of them and the 3 protagonists/1 antagonist should be treated differently in each part of the city where stores/interiors are. I want there to be a mall like King of Prussia(on Philly) in vinewood to the little shopping centers like Cederbrook Center in wyncote, Pa. Yes, I'm from Philly, but I would love to see variety and realism.

In my previous post, I posted pictures of some mini malls and restaurants in LA. Would still love to see fast food chains on every corner! No, I'm serious.
