KillaMoneyMike
(long read but worth it) I'm hoping I will end up putting it above SA and Vice City but it will need to be really good. I really liked those games. Maybe its just because of their nostalgia now and how new everything was with those games at the time, but I tend to put the ps2 classics above the new generation's GTA. I did not seem to like IV as much I dont know what it was. I meen, I guess I enjoyed the story. Kind of unrealistic at times, and I didn't know what to make of Niko either. A killer with morals? He was cool though I have to admit lol. But I'm not sure I liked the constant phone calls all the time and the side missions weren't that compelling to me. Also, there wasn't much to do after the game had been completed. I eventually got bored with LC which happens to also be based on the city that I live in. I think that had something to do with it too, too much NY possibly? The city seemed dull to me rather quickly. The older ones on the other hand, had something different about them. They had more sense of humor, and weren't as dark & dreary. The old games would make me literally lol at times due to whether it be funny civilian comments, radio stations, ect...& I think IV was missing some of that. And plus, the activities... San Andreas was full of new things to do, different environments to explore, myths, easter eggs, funny sh*t, lonnng story...There were no shortages of things to do- car customization , property buying, turf wars, character building, jetpacks , plus more. I just hope things return in GTA V and there is more to do. Because it seemed like they really just focused a lot on the graphics with IV and perhaps transitioning GTA to the new hardware, but there were a lack of things to do compared to SA. Now that they have the blueprint, hopefully most of the activities/quantity of things to do will return like they were in SA. Because that imo was a classic along with Vice City...Which was awesome. The Florida setting and the pink/orange sky made it beautiful. I loved that game. Fond memories playing it. GTA III was awesome too. I kind of liked the protagonist best of all in that game. Didn't say one word throughout the whole game and had a mysterious aura about him and the city had a cool NY'ish vibe before R* shoved it down our throats in GTA IV. I miss the cool energy pills, I don't know why they dont do that anymore but I wish they threw it in V just for sh*ts and giggles. That would be hot! ...GTA V looks promising though. I have always been intrigued by LA and California in general and I am excited they returned to San Andreas. Only thing that would have been better is if they went to like another country like perhaps in Europe or somewhere poor/3rd world. That would of been new at least. But I am satisfied. Just hopefully they return to their roots on this one, and also give us some more things to do. I want a good vibe from the city and I don't want the story to be cheesy...Hopefully there will be more activities to keep us going this time. The estimated map size from R* sounds promising but lets just hope that most of it isnt greenland, because that countryside looks HUGE. Probably action equipped as well but lets not take away from the city. We don't need millions of insignificant acres of land, nor do we really need a vast sea floor (unless sharks are back!). So, what do you wish most from GTA V, and how would you compare it to the other ones? Also, did you agree with what I wrote and my opinion on IV? Sorry for the long read, I started typing and just went in lol. Edited November 25, 2012 by KillaMoneyMike

zeppelincheetah
I really want to see the countryside and how playing as three different characters works. I believe this will be the best GTA so far, better than my current favorite which is GTA III.
killahmatic
I absolutely think there is no way this game could let me down. From what I've seen, V is clearly better than past hits such as Vice City and IV, which were both great games. San Andreas was huge because of the amount of freedom it had, and V is looking to top that. V is bringing the largest map, the largest vehicle list, most realistic sounds, & best graphics in the franchise. That alone should be enough to show that this GTA will be the best GTA, though theres always people that wont happy if just one small feature is left out. Theres still a lot of information that hasnt been released, and most of it wont be released until we get the game ourselves. No matter how others rate the game, I can already confirm that V will by MY favorite game. EDIT: as for the original question of what I'd want most... everything I most wanted has already been confirmed! Racecarlock
I think I'll be too busy flying planes to worry about anything. Hope they have parachutes, because there's no way I'm going to land one of those things.
suburbanite
I just want to have a whole new immense map to explore the sh*t out of. I have no doubt it will surpass all the gtas, at least in my own opinion.
