Rideable buses and subways

Los Angeles/Southern California has a large bus and public transportation system that I feel should be recreated in the game. Buses you can enter or drive (used accordingly via doors) will show an animation of the character sitting inside or will show the outside like a cinematic camera. Subways will be the same and can be driven [maybe] if entered at the very front. Hijacking a train will cause the player to earn a large wanted level and will require police to run through stations and will involve helicopters and transportation police.

 

Ideas?

I don't know how far you would get trying to escape on a subway TRAIN.

 

The subway stealing idea may not have enough uses for R* to consider implementing in-game.

 

I mean, yeah, I would love to hi-jack a train or subway train, but if you received a 5 star wanted level, you're as good as dead. Maybe you can steal it when the conductor is on his coffee or lunch break.

I could see that. Driving the entire line then asking for ransom money.

 

Idea time:

 

Say you were to hi-jack trains during a conductor's lunch break. In the poorer or less populated districts, the conductor may not even care, or take an extended lunch break. This would be easy, but less of a reward. Then say you wanted to hi-jack a busier train with a longer line, the conductor would almost never take a lunch break and when he did, it would only be for about thirty seconds, if that, but would claim a higher ransom if you made it all the way around.

 

Something like that would be fun.

That sounds like a cool idea! Another thing I would like to see with the buses is getting money for stopping at bus stops and picking up AI like you could in Vice City

I think you will be able to drive trains now... They look pretty similar to GTA SA (from what I've seen in the 2nd trailer) It's only a guess though.

You was able to pick up people at bus stops' using a bus, in GTA Vice City. I was able too. Most people probably didn't know you can do that in Vice City.
