redjamspear Posted November 25, 2012 Share Posted November 25, 2012 Thinking about parachuting in rural areas, I started wondering about the possibility of hang gliding in V. It seems like a leisure activity people might take part in around the San Andreas area, and it could even be useful for some missions, potentially. Most importantly, if implemented well, it could be a lot of fun. It would also make up for spending hours hunting beavers in RDR for that guy, only to watch him plummet to his death! xWH1T30UTx Posted November 25, 2012 Share Posted November 25, 2012 Definitely has a chance. Someone had mentioned a wingsuit in another thread, which would be pretty awesome as well. From what I've gathered so far, V will seems to have a fair amount of focus on aerial vehicles and just the sky in general. If activities such as hang gliding were to be added, it would add an immense amount of playtime to the game, IMO. I'm definitely excited to see what Rockstar has in store for us with the recreational activities. Golf and scuba diving were just a little preview, I think. I know, but that didn't feature hanggliding AT ALL. He implies that it was possible to hangglide in the game. Ha, a cowboy hanggliding in 1911, I absolutely do NOT see that happening lol. I don't know why they didn't just go with paraglider instead of the ram chute. But yeah, it'd be fun to have, and I'd prefer it over hang glider, personally. Paramotoring is also an option here. If they code the paraglider right, it'd be just a matter of adding thrust. Prior to filing a bug against any of my code, please consider this response to common concerns.
