baboultr Posted November 25, 2012 Share Posted November 25, 2012 So Rockstargames said no characters from the GTA III Era will make an appearance in GTA V Because there different universes if thats so then why is lazlow in gta iv if hes from the GTA III Era? i mean we have seen lazlow in a GTA III Era artwork of vice city i don't get it? Now he works at Rockstar full time producing all the radio stations and contributing a large amount to the comedy in their games, not to mention traveling from city to city to promote each new Rockstar title on different radio stations worldwide every year. Rockstar said brands are able to translate through different generations, and I would consider the radio and it's personalities (Lazlow) more of a brand than a character. Adriaan Posted November 25, 2012 Share Posted November 25, 2012 The "universes" are the worlds interpreted at different definitions, 2d, 3d and high definition, so we felt brands and radio / back ground characters would exist in both, but 3 dimensional characters would not. This is the logic (as far as it could be considered logical) behind it - so no, we don't believe any GTA3 characters could exist in the GTA4 universe.
