Franklin, as you said however, is most likely looking for something bigger than "slinging dope and throwing up gang signs," which would be the heists and th robberies. But I think Lamar is more of a pivotal character than we think. Franklin seems more inclined to be a follower, so if Lamar asked Franklin to join him on gang business, then Franklin would say yes, seeing as how Lamar is his friend. Besides, I think it's likely that Franklin WAS in the Families (or whatever the Green gang is this time around), but dropped out of the thug life to become an independant criminal like Trevor and Micheal (seems to be a lot of people who think there are no more gang bangers in L.A. anymore they're still very much there). Lamar will probably try to drag him back in, like Luis Lopez and his two buddies in TBoGT. And lastly, yes dumb means unable to speak, but there's something called context and I wonder what planet you're from where nobody has ever said "dumb" in place of "stupid" (of course I realize you're just being obtuse with Red XIII, you knew what he meant and that he's right; Franklin IS affiliated). I loved the dynamic in GTA SA you had people coming up to you to ask where you were from, you could communicate with other Grove member, create gang territories etc. In other GTA's the protagonists where so lonely. just running around shooting everybody gets boring after a while Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
