To R* it doesn't matter anyways. It'll be released whenever it's done. I always have a hard time believing the release dates from R* anyways. If they gave us an exact date now I wouldn't bet my money on it, they've unfortunately delayed games too often in the past years. It's a stupid time to release a game anyways, not like R* cares, but the winter time is just so much better for playing games than the summer time..... Rockstar tends to surprise us on things; and they also don't stick to any sort of pattern on anything. I'm now thinking it's fair to say it'll most likely be any time between April-June, but realistically Rockstar could just say "F*ck it" and release it earlier. Or later, whatever. I don't think he was saying that February is happening, I just think he was pointing out that with the way Rockstar is, something unexpected will most likely happen. The truth is, none of us really know at this point. All we know is that the game will be released when it's done, and that could honestly be any time at this point. Going to your point of how MP3 and RDR was supposed to be released in 2009, GTA V would have already released by now and they would have been working on VI for next gen if R*'s games werent delayed. I don't know because there are so many factors. Grand Theft Auto is developed by Rockstar North. That studio has developed the game Agent from 2007 until late 2009 or early 2010. It was announced short before GTA IV was delayed on August 2nd 2007. In late 2009 in a newswire post from Rockstar Games, it was "announced" that Agent is coming in 2010 but the release never happened. Hell, since more three years or so now the Official Agent Webpage says that the game is "coming soon", lol! Anyway at the same time Rockstar North helped Rockstar San Diego and Rockstar Vancouver each in the development of Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3 and also they helped Team Bondi from 2008 until 2011 in the development of L.A. Noire. That is was we officially know so now we don't know if there is even more behind the departments of Rockstar Games! If the delays wouldn't have happened then Agent would have been released exclusively for Playstation 3 in 2010 instead of being either cancelled or a Playstation Orbis exclusive. Then probably GTA V would be a next-gen game. We can speculate about all this but what happened, happened. Games usually release on a Tuesday so put your money on one of these; April 2nd April 9th April 16th April 23rd April 30th GTA IV was released internationally on 29th April (also Tuesday). My money is on that. It's most credible at least. Like I said, based on figures, GTA IV is the most sold GTA yet, maybe because of the April release they decided rather than a usual October like the others. It's a good time for them to release it.
