I like the crew and emblem system rockstar went with in MP3 I just wish rockstar would get rid of soft lock/ Auto aim lobbies. I know the casual players and others will be upset with that but it will force them to learn how to aim and shoot. Keep the soft lock AA bs on single player and leave it out of multiplayer. I also never played a shooter on PC before is the mouse controls hard to use? I probably would use a controller on PC for shooters lol. Keyboard and mouse controls can be so precise I bet it feels like you are paying in a game with auto aim on when the pros on there are playing. If anything, it keeps noobs away from free aim lobbies so there'll be no feeders on my team But the Auto aim/ Soft lock lobbies overshadow the dissallow lobbies because when ppl get owned in dissallow they run to soft lock lobbies and just want to let the game do all the work for them with aiming. Multiplayer is so fun but allot of gamers hate getting owned so they are not having fun when they are dying allot and instead of learning how to aim and shoot they run to auto aim lobbies. You dont have to wait, you can buy GTA IV & EFLC PC now! Mouse is very easy to use, you need to try it. Controller on PC is bad idea, you wouldnt get a single kill on any regular player. You don't think its a little to noob friendly and noob encouraging on consoles? you can be speeding by in a car and get headshot and killed in seconds with soft lock cause the game will put the reticle right on opposing players head for you and all you have to do is hold down L1 and spray lol. I wouldn't even feel rewarded if the game is locking on to my targets for me. I respect the casuals and I can see soft lock being fun for chicks and ppl trying to learn the maps or whatever but what gets me is when you see the soft lock players getting into beefs with other soft lock players about who's the best and everything else when they are playing the game with training wheels on lol. 03silverbullet Posted November 24, 2012 Share Posted November 24, 2012 free aim, soft lock/hard lock, doesn't matter to me. i, unlike you, understand it's just a video game. people of all ages play this game and they all don't want to go through rigorous training in free aim just to kill a few players. soft lock allows the casual player to log in and easily kill or be killed. ...and for your information, i don't fight on the ground. i favor the the chain guns of a buzzard and as you already know, that's free aim. When it comes to the point where I can't find dissallow lobbies to play in anymore cause everyone is in soft lock lobbies I will just find another game for multiplayer. I will play the hell out of the single player though. Just wouldn't be fun for me if things was easier thats just me though. Nice I have a few really good pilot buddies and its always a pleasure knowing they have my back in the friendly skies when im tearing it up on the ground. First of all the reticle focuses on the chest not the head so you have to adjust and keep it centered on a moving target and noobs spray and pray. PROS DOUBLETAP. Analog stick freeaim only mp is useless to me i'm just that slow with it. Rdr was playable online usually since you could use autoaim to hit your target. Maybe if i didnt have a job and responsiblities i would have all the time in the world to get good at it but then there will be others that will be horrible at it and it will still be unfair. We should all have a fair chance, with no aa the skill difference between noobs and experts is incredibly unbalanced. We shouldn't have to play that much just to not get slaughtered immediatly online. The only reason people don't want aa at all is so the can easily kill the people that need it.
