Look around these forums; you will see the supposed "mature" PC gamers acting like they are entitled to something, or like they are better than everyone else. One user even has a banner under their username that states "Proud PC gamer." And by the way, stay away from that guy. He is not only an asshole, but so much that you could call him a lunatic. Look at the petition: http://www.change.org/en-CA/petitions/rock...ase-gta-v-on-pc The top two most liked comments are "Because I'm a PC Gamer" and "I just want you to work on this game now instead of crappily porting it to the pc years after initial release." Really. The thought that anyone in a stable mind would like either of these comments disgusts me (though the former could be seen as a "unity" of PC gamers comment, I see it as a "yeah, I deserve the game because I'm a PC gamer" comment. Maybe I am pessimistic in this respect). Now, Rockstar has to read these comments and may be lead to believe that PC gamers really are the assholes everyone else says they are. Then we have this whole "elite" PC alpha race bullsh*t. Maybe the PC is the best system for gaming in terms of graphics and mods, but stop spreading more zealous crap that makes you as a gamer look bad. So, to get it out of my system: f*ck PC gamers that think they have the right to act or speak like what I have been seeing. You are the reason why everyone else hates "us," and if you stopped being complete dicks, maybe others would stop thinking badly of you. PC gamers are the snobs of gaming, they think they are better than console gamers because they play modded games. Thats a stereotype but its not far from the truth. They are dicks. Now PS3 gaming is the most mature gaming. It outprices the chavs and kids and has a very adult based game selection, as opposed to the Xbox Kinect and its Wii like games. Get a PS3. If a Wii gamer wants to be mature and choose mature games, they can. Xbox 360 and PS3 games share many of the same titles. It all depends on the gamer, not the system. I think it's very simple: stop calling yourself a PC gamer (this is not directed at you, OP). The word "gamer" in general is stupid. Do you game for a living? Is it your job? I know it's a hobby but I don't go around calling myself a bass guitar player. If I had a job as an engineer (example) I might call myself an engineer. But that's the only label I would use. Rockstar just doesn't think it's valuable. I would rather play GTA V on my PC (because of mods, maybe more players online, that sort of stuff), but I can be happy with the Xbox 360 version. Maybe...? Count the mods for any console game. And then you compare the console system with a high-end PC system My PS3 is nothing compared to my high-end PC which I run ARMA 2 at highest settings. And my PC isnt even at the top. And whats up with that petetition? Even though I only play GTA on my PS3, I understand, and I agree that it is a shame that a proper PC version of GTA is prevented by the extreme limitations of the console. Its still no excuse, but the reason is simply, that for many PC Players GTA V ist THE GAME that they were waiting for. So i think the immanture PC Player behaviours are due to a mix of Rockstars disrespectful politics about PC Versions and the unbelievable big popularity of the GTA Series. Look at the petition thread where many apparent console gamers are purposely going onto that thread to troll and give the rubbish Ubisoft report as an example. I have a PS3, an Xbox 360, A Wii and the top-end gaming PC but the thing that stopped me from getting for the longest time was the people I thought I was going to run into online, yes the PC has better Specs but the PC is upgradable, Seriously if the PC is as high and mighty as they all put it then where is a PC exculsive game that makes the system shine. Crysis is garbage I have it on PC and PS3 and they don't look like anything special, I have crysis 2 on PC and somehow that looks worse than Crysis 1. But i will not spent 200 Euros on an used console which i also could invest onto a new Graphics Card or CPU. I also just hate playing games with shooting with a controller...no i always was a pc gamer and if cockstar decides to not release a PC Version of GTA V, i will just not play it...no matter how hard this would be for me as a GTA fan. Anyway I think that this idea of "PC Gamer"* entitlement needs to end, I don't care what platform you bought the game for, you made that decision and thinking that just because you play on a platform that offers a few more possibilities does not mean that you are entitled to anything. The only thing that you are entitled to as a consumer is a working, functional item that belongs to you. That's it, they don't have to supply you with any extra "DLC" or any other type of stuff that falls into that nature but still you ask for it, hell they don't even have to release the game for your platform at all if they don't wish to. Yet for some reason the "PC Gamer's" of the world feel like they're entitled to something more then they're given, be happy that the developers bothered to release on your platform in the first place. Treating and acting like a video game's crap just because it doesn't come out on your platform doesn't make the game any worse either, you want the game ? buy the platform it comes out for - just because you spent a couple of thousand dollars over the years on a PC doesn't make you any more entitled to the game then anybody else. If you still think that you're so very entitled to everything just because you're a PC Gamer and the game will "obviously" be better on PC does not mean you're entitled to it. The way most of you behave especially in the "V" section shows me the amount of selfish entitlement you people display and I for one am sickened by it. * I use this word very, very loosely.
