Arcade Mode.

A mode with loads of minigames to do, like how many x you can kill in a minute, or how many cops you can get to chase you.

It could be something fun to do in party mode.

Gumball Hellthousand.

You will be able to pick between five of the fastest cars in the game (It will be a menu like SA-MP), when you pick your favorite car, you will then be able to choose two pistols, 1 Shotgun and a Assault Rifle.

You and your friends/random people (Maxium is 8 Players), will then drive your sports cars from a abandoned creepy shack in the countryside to house of a known killer in east Los Santos.........Remember, the house is VERY armed, so get ready.

If you die, that's it. You will have to watch the others play, one life per person.

Your reward = Keeping your life for another day, dun dun dunnnnnn!!! alien.gif

Some good ideas are floating around. I am starting to like the idea of a survival mode. I was thinking that anything that has to do with zombies could be DLC. It could include a single player campaign and introduce some new MP modes.

Does anybody have any ideas for a Hunting mode or something? I am sure there will be some sort of interactivity with the animals in the countryside.

The best thing they could do for multiplayer is make it scriptable.

Let the people make their own multiplayer servers, even dedicated yes and that includes anything you can think about.

Free-aim has to be the default aiming. I don't care friendly-fire, cops on/of etc...

But free-aim has to the main and default aiming. Getting shot down by some 12 year old noob because he spawned right on top of you is retarded. No offense to auto-aim users. It's fine in single-player if you want to. But in a game where PvP is unavoidable, auto-aim sucks big time.

Free-roam racing: Race from point A to point B as fast as possible. There are no pre-destined tracks or checkpoints that you have to follow. The world is fully open, and it's up to you to figure out the fastest and most effective way to get there before your opponents. Some of you may be familiar with this from Midnight Club: Dub Edition for example.

I was going to come here and say this. This, this, this!

Maybe you could even have boat-only/car-only/flight-only varieties too.

I like the one about finding a specific vehicle that someone suggested. Simply, we need some crazy fun MP modes to really make GTAV MP worthwhile.

You do realize this is in GTA 4 multiplayer?

Ah, I meant to put a disclaimer saying sorry if it is indeed in GTA IV.

I haven't explored many of the modes outside of Freeroam.

A last-stand mode of some sorts - like Undead Overrun in Red Dead Redemption, except maybe an assortment of scenes of a robbery and fighting and surviving wave after wave of cops and stuff.

Capture the bag.

You get a bag of money from a safe in a shop and have to get it back to your chest, uh I mean armored van which you have to escape with at the end of the round while defending against an attacking team.

Next round the other team has to get the bags and get them back to their van while you try and stop them.

Extra rules: You can escape at any time before time runs out, but the longer you take to get money the more you'll get, aslong as the other team doesn't hinder you too much.

If time runs out police turn up and it's game over.

That a good idea I wouldn't mind this too. I've alway's loved Capture the Flag in COD so to have something like that in GTA would be awesome.

The only reaon I put it is because it's almost a dead cert, what with having capture the bag games in Max Payne 3 and RDR.

I just don't like howw those games are, both teams fight over the bags and it becomes a cluster f*ck.

This is a more controlled version of the game and I would like to see it implemented as such.

It's also like a game mode from Kane and Lynch 2 but different, on that the dead players become cops, I didn't like that.

Made a list of multiplayer modes a year ago I even made a heist related game mode before we knew that was the theme of the game.

Here's one of the game modes from the list

Team Heist

user posted image

Team heist a variation of king of the hill mode, up to 4 teams will be alerted to perform a heist on one of the several jewellery stores and banks around Los Santos the only problem is that only one place will be available to rob at a time meaning one team will have to initiate the heist as well as kill other teams trying to take over their current heist.

How it works

Players will need to empty the safe of the current robbery location before the next place to rob will be highlighted. Players will only begin to take money from a safe once all their team mates are in the area and at least one person is by the safe while pressing L1. Players can increase the rate of money they can take by having more people by the safe however this will leave their defences more vunerable from other teams attacking aswell as the police.

Safe house

Once a bank/jewelery store's safe has been emptied each team that managed to earn money from that current heist will need to find a safehouse garage to deposit their money so they can earn points, each $1000 deposited equals 1 point and points will determine who ultimately wins the game.

To make things fair all members will need to be in the same car while it pulls into the garage to make a full deposit . Teams will need to hurry when depositing their money as the police will most likely give chase and their absense from the next heist point will give the other teams an advantage on the next safe.

The game can be played from up to 5 points up to 10 and up to 15 as well as time limit options.

Prison based online game mode

Id like to see a prison based multiplayer mode, - Natural Born Killers, Escape from alcatraz, the escapist, shawshank redemption, the watchmen, public enemies etc etc show the scope a game involving a prison break could have and the ripe pickings a company like rockstar could use for a game like GTA V.

I see it either as a co-op game whereby online players team up to pull off an escape choosing from a number of route be it the stealth based shawshank, the escapist where by players would work together using predominatly stealth tactics to sneak there way out of bondage or the riot enducing mayhem of natural born killers, watchmen, public enemies whereby players start a prison riot, as the riot spreads players have to fight through both prisoners and prison gaurds, both would end with a get away chase ending when players reach a safe zone without detection.

The 3rd option would be to have a cops n robbers esque 'screws and crims' where online players would be seperated into two groups one group playing the crims trying to escape and one group playing the screws trying to keep the crim captive.

A prison based scripted co-op mission would also be a very exciting proposition

John The Grudge

I have an idea for a multiplayer mode. Basically a number of players are dropped into the map at spread out locations. There is no indicators at all to help you locate or identify the other players. For all you know one of the peds walking casually along the street is another player. The aim is simply to eliminate the other players. How you go about identifying them and taking them out is up to you.

Each match would probably be fairly long and drawn out but rewarding. Perhaps in addition to eliminating the other players there could be additional goals such as collecting certain things or achieving certain objectives. This could give the players something to look out for. Can you go about completing these objectives and eliminate the other players and still remain hidden?

Grabass

[parody of Jackass]

Players rack up points by doing the most damage to themselves with infinite health and without guns/explosives.

The venue is Mt. Chilliad and you get a bicycle. Other scenarios would be considered.

Hitlist

Players are sent texts by a mysterious person with the name of a player to kill.

Being spotted killing anyone means an instant 6 star wanted level as you are seen to be a member of a terrorist organization and cops are on high alert.

If you complete your contract you get a certain amount of money. Getting wasted or busted reduces your funds.

Killing your assigned killer yields a double amount of money.

Player with the highest amount of cash in the end wins.

Road Rash

This was done in the Lost and Damned. Essentially, the same motorcycle race with more polished mechanics and a bigger variety of melee/non lethal weapons.

Intoxication

A series of drinking games that involve quick time events, rhythm, and button combos.

After the winner is declared, a drunken rendition of team deathmatch starts and the winners are equipped with slightly better weapons.

This game mode could actually apply to any other game mode (race, deathmatch, free roam, etc). Essentially, its just something make a regular game mode have drunken euphoria mechanics.

These probably won't happen but...

GTA Death Race

Vehicles are fitted out with extra armour. The track is rigged with different explosives and traps. Think Split Second. When 1 part of the track is blocked (tunnel colapses/bridge collapses) other parts open up.

Lone Wolf/Terminator mode

The lone wolf has extra armour and health than he would normally have and has access to a higher grade of arms. The other players hunt him down. How long can he hold out for?

GTA Race Triathlon

2 people per team. Not sure how many people are allowed in multiplayer but lets say 18.

9 teams.

Person 1 in team 1 is the car driver. He races the first stint which ends up an the airport, he drives into the back of a plane transporter which player 2 will fly to point x

They both drive out in their own seperate vehicles and sprint to the finish line at point Z.

The number of players could vary and it can work on a points based system. Other players whilst being transported can/can not use weapons depending on type of race.

The race could also be mixed around to include a parachute finish and a different arrangement of vehicles and routes. So it could be Car Bike Boat - Boat Train Quad etc etc.

This is just a general wish that could be used in lots of game modes...

I want different trailers for cars and trucks etc.

On the car trailor would be

Tier 1 - a mounted machine gun

Tier 2 - 2 mounted machine guns

Tier 3 - Rocked launcher

These are protected by a sensible amount of amour

Then there would be kinda the same thing for the Truck trailors but bigger and more powerful.

I hope these are the kind of 'toys' that R* say we will get. How cool would that be !!
