Create Your Own Multiplayer Mode

This title says it all! Brainstorm your own ideas for a brand nerw multiplayer mode in Grand Theft Auto V. Just post the title of your mode and post the rules and/or objectives of the mode. It can be an absolute crazy mode, or just a modification of some sorts to previous multiplayer modes. Be sure to be respectful to other's ideas. Have fun!

 

My idea:

Title: Capture the Sky

Goal: Compete with others or on teams using planes to bomb certain targets to claim the zones they are within.. The more zones you or your team has claimed, the more points are atrributed per 10 seconds. The first to reach a certain amount of points or who ever has the most points after a certain time limit wins the game!

Capture the bag.

You get a bag of money from a safe in a shop and have to get it back to your chest, uh I mean armored van which you have to escape with at the end of the round while defending against an attacking team.

Next round the other team has to get the bags and get them back to their van while you try and stop them.

 

Extra rules: You can escape at any time before time runs out, but the longer you take to get money the more you'll get, aslong as the other team doesn't hinder you too much.

If time runs out police turn up and it's game over.

Riot mode! You spawn in the city and have to stay alive with AI and other players attacking you with whatever weapons they can get their hands on. Kinda like the riot cheat in GTA 3. You can go lone wolf and kill the AI and other players for better weapons and supplies or team up with your buddies. The AI will use any weapons and vehicles in the game to try to kill you. Your goal is to get to safety ( a military base or something ) without being murdered. Imagine it like Day-Z, but the AI has guns and are not zombies.

@018361 I miss the riot mode! It would be interesting if they implemented that int GTA V MP somehow. I see it as a survival mode. tounge.gif

Capture the car.

 

Its capture the flag but you capturing a car instead of a flag. Each team has a car to defend and a car to capture. Capture the car by any means! If a car is destroyed it respawns back St the base.

Hmm

How about a living world mode?

Some people assume the Roles of Police officer and Medics.

The other people just mess around in the world.

 

The police will just drive around, park up etc and look at any crime that the other plays commit.

If The other plays commit a crime, the players that are Police, will get a dispatch call, asking to attend to the scene.

 

Then, it can go either way, the other players can shoot their way out and keep getting more cops on them or they can surrender and get a ticket.

 

There will be NO NPC Police or Medics. All the emergency services will get doled out to players.

Cop and robers! Well, there was a game mode like that in GTA IV... But I'd like it to be a bit more fun... Like, robers are doing some missions (a little bit like mission mafia) but the cops would have to stop them! Or, something that looks like it.

1. as long as free mode is still there then im happy

2. In TBOGT TDM was not in all the map i hope that isn't the case as i loved the freedom of Vanilla (GTA IV) ,TDM should be all map or chosen sections of the map

you know Hunger Game? Battle Royale? SOme Sorta (Last man Stand / Survival )

 

On A Island - 3 player will (voluntary - not randomly selected) will be in Control Room (to Monitor other Player MOVEMENT) - any vote kick made by this is final and only them can pull kick vote (if they find any foul play - pc version especially , hack trainer).

 

the Island (mechanic or specification):

1. Player who XXX meter from the land will be killed.

2. Player can create ally but only one will win.

3. Most building on the island is accessible

4. The starting exactly like Hunger games .

5. Nearby Player will not be revealed on minimap (even if under ally)

6. if can minimap are disabled.

7. player already died can leave the game or stay at the Control Room (spoiling other people location or things biggrin.gif )

8. Random event/disaster will occur (to prevent camper)

Capture the Bitch:

Like capture the bag from RDR but instead theres a bitch that pimps(players) are protecting.

 

Riot Match:

Replaces DM, same as DM but buildings are f*cked up and cars explode for no reason and guns have low ammo

 

Dogfight:

Dogfight....

 

Death Race:

Replaces GTA Race, pimp out your ride with miniguns and rockets. Get ammo from driving through refill stations.

That a good idea I wouldn't mind this too. I've alway's loved Capture the Flag in COD so to have something like that in GTA would be awesome.

Forewarning: this idea gets talked about all the time.

 

 

Title: Zombie Survival.(free for all, Crew vs crew, team vs team.)

survive the undead.

this gamemode is similar to the freeroam in Undead Nightmare DLC for Red Dead Redemption with some interesting tweaks.

you can choose to team up, or go it solo/hunt each other down. you DO respawn, in a different area from the start.

 

you start with one pistol, and a knife.

Guns have less ammo when found. Ammo is hard to come by. This is where having/finding better melee weapons will ensure your survival.

Ammunation stores are borded up, often taken over by hostile NPC gangs.

many cars are destroyed or don't work. no ambient traffic, most cars are dead on the side of the road, abandoned, demolished, etc.

vehicles can only go so far and take so much abuse, and will occasionally wear out "parts." These parts can be found randomly on the map with a low finding chance, or salvaged from other cars with some time. keep in mind, you may not salvage the part you need from that car.

not all cars can offer parts for salvage. key parts include Tires, axle, door, hood, front window, motor, battery.

Ambient traffic is replaced with high zombie spawn rates.

there are safehouses that can be barricaded. To do this, you must find supplies (Wood, sheet metal, Corrugated metal, Planks, Metal chunks, etc.

players can work together, or kill each other for their precious ammunition, weapons, and supplies.

Zombies have three major abilities Hivemind, Horde, and Crowd Sight.

Hivemind attracts other zombies within a certain distance if one zombie engages in combat with any non zombie (survivors, bandits, military, player.)

Crowd sight is activated when 10 or more zombies are actively chasing any non zombie unit, it auto aggro's other zombies (up to a maximum of 100) and engages horde mode.

Horde mode is exactly what it sounds like, a large horde of zombies maxing out at 100. they will endlessly give chase to the player, Hordemode allows standard zombies to run as fast as the player, fast zombies cannot engage in hordes, and they cannot pursue a player while he is being chased by a horde. Both Hivemind and Crowd sight can and will often trigger a horde. hordes can be triggered on players AND non Zombie NPC's.

it's not uncommon to have numerous hordes trigger in originally high population areas.

 

NPCs:

Zombie: it's an outbreak, they're everywhere, limping around, physically attacking anything they encounter (Yes, even animals) will be affected by Horde, Hivemind, and Crowdsight.

FastZombie: they run faster then you do, dispatch them, or find a vehicle to escape. they are slightly weaker than normal zombies, and will give up the chase if you get a block ahead of them.

Bandit: Will roam/drive around in groups of 10-15. they may ride motorcycles, drive pickups, or even have a bus. if you're lucky, and can take down a group of them, they will drop ammo, and their vehicles have a special -bandit tag that makes them have a higher durability over other cars. bandits are hostile. The Fast zombie is also affected by hivemind.

you may also find bandits camped out in local points of interest.

Military: Camped out at the map's military base (Or the LSPD HQ.) you will encounter military, They will attack any zombie or bandit on sight. military bases are a safe place to hide, however they can be overrun by hordes.

Military(convoy) Along the highways between the PD and military base, you may occasionally encounter a military convoy, these military units are all in vehicles (Military Patriot, Barracks trucks, APC.) they don't stop to fight, and they will only engage with bandits or anyone who tries to stop them/get in the way.

Survivor: Amidst the chaos, you'll find living civilians running around, some have weapons, some have nothing. police and military will rescue them.

Police: Yep, they are still around. though there are less of them (if the broken police cars, police skinned zombies, and dead police officers aren't hint enough) but you will see them at the smaller PD's and the LSPD HQ.

 

Points of interest:

Military base, a safe haven for people looking for aide. you can hide within the walls (for a short period of time before you are booted out.) and you can equip yourself with a couple supplies, namely ammo, and health items. you can only enter once per ingame day.

LSPD HQ, overrun by zombies, the LSPD had help from the military to clear it out and hold down, same benefits as the military base, temporary noncombat zone inside (weapons and fighting is disabled) and you can heal/resupply. once every ingame day.

Hospital/health clinics, desperately low on health? come to these places. Be wary: they will often be overrun by zombies, or held by bandits.

Ammunation, capture an amunation store from bandits? you have a slow supply of weapons and ammo for your team, but it will be actively targeted by bandits.

Pay&spray, capture and hold this with your team from bandits, and you have access to a place to repair vehicles. Keep in mind: each individual Pay&Spray can be held by a different faction, or abandoned completely. and they will be the target of attacks.

Police Stations: Held by police, a temporary place to rest.no ammo or supplies can be had here. not all police stations will be safe though. only a few, widely scattered across the map.

 

Military Base, LSPD HQ, and LSPD stations will be subject to regular attacks, and have an extremely high zombie population within an 8 block radius, they will be difficult to get to, as bandits will often want the military/police equipment for themselves, and may just block a road to try and cut off survivors, as well as Military convoys.

 

NEXT

 

DeathRace(freeroam, and an actual RACE mode)

 

the only weapons you have, are your vehicle. there are places however, where you can get other weapons that will do damage.

Special vehicles can be useful.

Tipper (once upgraded) can dump a bed full of clutter to crush vehicles behind it, or spikes scattered from the dump, taking out tyres.

 

the race mode is slightly different, you can pick between 20 outfitted cars, pick a track, and go. you run through designated places (gas stations, car wash, etc) to refill your ammo, and fix your car.

you blow up? you're out of the race.

every car has different abilities, so experiment to see which you find the best. (the low damage, but fast Cheetah with kneecappers, and a machine gun? the hearse which tosses explosive caskets out the rear? there's other cars too, and it's your choice.

Free mode with unlimited ammo and created gun list of your choice.

 

 

PLain and simple. Don't understand why this wasn't introduced in GTA4... playing with friends online was just plain annoying running around collecting guns is a chore then you die.

i do like all the survival modes!!! either riot mode or zombie mode..

 

a survival mode would give the openworld experience so much more tense, because you are nowhere save, not from the NPC's nor other players because who is there to trust?

i really hope they have something like that, i wouldnt mind a zombie mode either, if R* did it right, it would be awesome!

 

from the ravages of down town to the creepy forest on the edge of mount chilliad. !

Mob rule;

 

revolution is in the air as the city gradually descends into chaos as the majority of the public begin, rioting, looting, taking over public buildings etc etc, you have a choice of either joining the mob earning points by looting, acts of random vandalism and violence, cop killing and overunning public buildings etc etc or you can become an emergency deputy earning points for quelling violence, looting, rioting using ultimate force or perhaps even arresting rioters , protecting innocents and public officials/buildings. the game would peak once the military (with a shoot at will policy) became involved where by it would become a game of survival as rioters would try and avoid capture/ being killed and police/millitary would try rounding up and taking down the final pockets of resistance. I think this could be a more GTA friendly version of the zombie game and for me watching the city descend into havok would be incredibly enjoyable with police copters and then millitary helis/jets scouring the skies, emergency bulletins on the radio, the streets filled with two opposing factions. As a dlc it could have even more varied game modes like patrols/protecting officials, escorting them from a to b for the cops or protecting important gangsters, their fammilies, drug stashes etc for the crims /over running prisons/police stations/military bases... etc etc

 

as a large scale co-op game this could be amazing.

Id also like to see a map populated with varying missions/places to be robbed that a gang of online players can take part in, from banks, casinos, shops etc scattered round the map that can be robbed to missions from pay phones/ random events such as contract killings, protection missions, drug dealing, turf wars/gang wars. Id like to see an online city as varied and detailed as the single player city where by co-op gangs can choose from an array of either vague story ran missions or opportunist crimes or just choose to go on killing sprees, take over certain buildings (malls,prison,police stations,military bases) or start gang wars against other online gangs.....

Grand Theft Auto: The players start at the same area, and after 30 seconds(?) everyone will find out which certain vehicle needs to be found, stolen and delivered to a certain location. (For example, a blue car, a bus, a sedan, a Faggio, or a school bus) The first player to deliver a vehicle that fits the description wins. The time it takes to deliver the vehicle, and the state it's in when delivered affects the size of the reward. To make it even more interesting: Once a player has located a vehicle that fits the description he will be shown on the minimap.

Dogfighting with airplanes high up in the air. Could be either free-for-all or team deathmatch.

: All the players are playing as the police except for one randomly selected player who gets to be the criminal. The goal is for the criminal to fulfill one of three objectives; Get away a certain distance from the police, be the last man standing, or survive until the time runs out.

 

: This could be made a multiplayer game by either racing on pre-destined tracks with other players, or by adding some sort of global scoreboard and let everyone race on their own. (This would be fun for singleplayer too)

 

Zombie Survival: There could be several ways to implement this; Add objectives that needs to be fulfilled in an open world and work cooperatively to achieve said objectives, or make the players defend a certain area/building/point and have the zombies come at the players in waves, or simply let the players roam freely.

 

Cooperative vigilante missions: Just like you would in the previous games, but with support for more players. (2-4 players)

 

Free-roam racing: Race from point A to point B as fast as possible. There are no pre-destined tracks or checkpoints that you have to follow. The world is fully open, and it's up to you to figure out the fastest and most effective way to get there before your opponents. Some of you may be familiar with this from Midnight Club: Dub Edition for example.

 

Air Combat, i.e. dogfighting.

This game mode I made up would be extremely fun I call it PROTECT THE PRESIDENT How do you play? This game mode features 2 teams Rounds: 5 (1st team to 3wins) sides switch after each round. If both teams are tied at 2_2 in the final round the sides will be selected randomly. Object of PTP: the object is to safely guide the president to the safe zone(2) or kill all of the hitmen. Map sizes: this game mode should be a on foot only mode. No cars. Can even make maps just for this mode example: airport map,college,police station, city hall,etc Reason brhind mode: The president is in town to speak to the city, but a crime lord ordered his hitmen to take him out. Health: in this mode every user besides the president will have the normal health. The president will also have armor. weapons: every user besides the president should have the same gun class to start with. Class of pistol,machine gun,ak47,& granade. The president will only have to weapons but they are powerful a shotgun & red,whit,blue colored base ball bat. Your probably thinking baseball bat huh? The bat is powerful takes only 1 hut to kill a hitman if close enough to hit a home run. Picking the president: after each round the next president is selected randomly. To tell the difference between who are the body guards and president.. The president will wear a red,white,blue suit for the round. I

Chopper and fighter Jet battles.

 

Cage Fighting.

 

Sniper wars with no radar.

 

 

Also free-aim needs to be the defaults aiming. Auto-aim is literally retarded and makes competitive mutliplayer pointless. Also the blips on the radar need to be off so you don't know where everyone is at all times. Stealth and hiding should be a big aspect of theg ame.
