PS3 or X360? (NO WAR INTENDED)

I prefer PC over any other consoles.

Even though I haven't got my PC, that's my main choice for certain games to play; GTA V, BF3, BO2. I'm saving up about $600 for a PC.

It would be best if you just get both for once and that's my suggestion to you. I don't hate both of the console's systems at all, they are indeed awesome looking in my opinion.

There a new feature that's called XBL and PSN that let's you do that by downloading games

Some General pointers

 

 

1. Xbox 360 has fantastic and well established reward system compared to pathetic Trophy collections rising more slowly than hard-earned competitive Achievement Scores.

The game controls are very much easy than PS3. Both can be good but Xbox really gives that ease example driving Cars in GTA 4 with them and PS3 ones. The layout of thumbsticks is comfortable for any game having a lot of action and quick movements (Batman series). PS3 six axis can be fun but very limited fun not a significant thing.

 

2. Xbox 360 is more intuitive with easy-to-use dashboard allows gamers to access the information they need and offers best graphics to every game developed for Xbox whether exclusive or not. I find PS3 graphics have that shiny/digital like quality making less natural over Xbox 360's sharp textures rich and alive, colors are more vibrant and extremely clear example Mafia 2.

 

3. Microsoft is a software company while Sony lacks that position of advantage in bringing technical superiority in futre versions since it's an appliance company with no way to compete the Microsoft's years of R&D.

 

Lastly, a cheap reason to go for Xbox 360. Buy a PC Windows 7 and get Xbox 360 Free!!!..

OK, seriously, when you get to the point where you're slating a near identical system, you're a fanboy, let me guess, Steam Achievements suck to, there's no numbers!

How can a random irrelevant number that nobody bothers to look at be better or more oragnized than a set of trophies ranking from Platinum to Bronze? Seriously..?

 

Example:

 

PS3 Trophies: 13 Platinum, 123 Gold, 290 Silver, 670 Bronze.

 

Xbox 360 Achievements: 132562G

Although i prefer xbox's avatar system, that was supposed to be replicated in home but that failed big time shame really, would love to have a stoner-hippy-emo-serial killer avatar thingy.

good question - PlayStation

been loyal to PS since the mid 90s, was not gonna change.

Also I like PS exclusives more than xbox, more variety, most of theirs are practically the same thing. Halo, Gears of war.. both over-rated as is cod and battlefield imo, really do not like these games.

This is only up to your personal feelings, cause for some people consoles and their exclusive (and not exclusive) titles are more plausible in playing than on PC. For me, as an example, GTA IV is better on Xbox 360 than on PC - dunno about PS3 but it's most likely similar to Xbox's.

IV is much better on the PS3. The single-player is the same (although the PS3 has a few small features the XBOX doesn't, I read somewhere, not sure if true) and the online is a much better experience, with much less hackers.

IV is much better on the PS3...

WRONG! How can you simply put away the PC Version? With mods and great graphics, I fail to see the point how can the PS3 Version be better than the PC Version?.

 

Things I like about X360

 

1. The wireless X360 Controller has to be the best Controller in the whole Video Game History.

2. Its Achievements.

3. Its Avatar System

4. Its UI (New Metro)

5. Better Customer Support

 

Things I like about PS3

 

1. No Pay 2 Play

2. Better Exclusives

3. Its UI (XMB)

4. It has a Blu Ray Drive (Not only i can have 1 Disc but i can also watch blu ray movies)

5. If you own a PSVita you should definitely get a PS3.
