Scientists said that this could lead to discoveries of being able to regenerate cells that were destroyed from their accident and send the signals back to their legs/arms/injured part unable to move. Now they can rewrite Of Mice And Men and instead of Carlson taking Candy's dog out to shoot it in a callous and cowardly, yet heartbreaking way, Candy can shove his stump up Carlson's bumhole and tell him to do one because he's taking the dog to get breakthrough surgery and he'll be running around again in no time.
