In any case, it's incredible to see just how far both technology and creativity have come, in what is actually quite a short time. Who would have thought a simple arcade game like Lemmings would spark one of the most innovative, yet controversial franchises of all time. They're still working on pentium 1 computers or something. The rockstar offices look completely different now so that video is completely useless. It's still pretty interesting to see the early days if you're a fan of the series... For instance, motion capture in the video game industry was almost unheard of back then and was pretty cutting edge. Kind of interesting to see they had a setup in the studio at the time. Wonder what they were working on... (considering GTA1 and GTA2 didn't have motion capture). See what I said.... It seems likely they were preparing for what would maybe end up being GTA III it might just be a case that they were planning SOME free roaming type game anyway Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Technically it was created in the Scotland, which is part of the UK, either way of saying it is correct, as long as you don't say England Rockstar is run by English people. Technically it was created in the Scotland, which is part of the UK, either way of saying it is correct, as long as you don't say England Rockstar is run by English people. I think the 3 most prominent guys at R*, are Sam + Dan Houser (English) and The Benz (Scottish). Not completely certain on that though.
