TheJasonGallant
DLCs in this kind of game is VERY bad! If you can't include everything form the beginning, there is no point making a video game. I'm tired that there is always DLC before the game even lunch. Troll Proof
I dont play much multiplayer and it's sad that that is the direction gaming is going in. Thanks for stating that. It seems that a small handful of "light" gamers eschew online play. Good. I don't get the whole multiplayer thing, I'd much rather play by myself in an controlled and friendly environment rather online with a bunch of jerks who ruin your fun for their own entertainment. I tried online one with NFS Shift, and promptly never played again due to the lack of ethics. The only decent game I've come across w/ online play is Test Drive Unlimited, which isn't saying much. Hopefully Rockstar will consider that there is a core group who couldn't give less towards online play and will take their concerns into account. Killerdude
This is bad! So we'll have just GTA V for more 5 years?? No, surely we will get Agent and Red Dead 3 in that time at least. True, but realise that they're different games. Many of us love RDR and GTA, but they are not that similar imo. There are few games that satisfy my GTA itch. RDR is not one of them, instead it created a "western" itch, and that GTA can not scratch. Rockstar really set the bar high with EFLC, and i believe that this new bold direction is the culmination of GTA IV, and EFLC, with the tri story arcs. This time we're getting "the possible trinity" (many of you will know that) in one game, instead of 3. This is a good thing, and i think the inclusion of the 3 protags will stand in for the DLC. Perhaps DLC did not sell too well (I see little evidence of that, and i have seen nothing to support saying rockstar backed out of a - might i add - legally binding contract) or perhaps it did, but the quality of it is one i have not seen too much of in gaming. Rockstar's focus on "smaller DLC" worries me greatly. I think we're looking at Multiplayer DLC only. I dont play much multiplayer and it's sad that that is the direction gaming is going in. It also looks as if Rockstar are caving in to the "ubisoft" tactic - release a game then charge for tiny DLCs, and ultimately i can see rockstar whoring their content out with multipl preorder and exclusive DLC, missions cars etc. For a game like GTA i doubt their main focus will be Multiplayer DLC.
