It's not the same hitting someone on a motorbike and not having them fly around. Once you go Euphoria, you can never go back(in my opinion at least). I consider GTA III and IV to be "beta" versions of the eras. GTA V SHOULD be FILLED with new things considering that SA only took about 2 years. I don't know about you all, but Liberty City is honestly one of the most detailed and interesting city I've ever seen in a game. SA for me did not have a city that deeply interested me. The cities in SA felt half assed. Like I like them in several ways, but they never felt real. In IV, Liberty City looked so detailed. unc13bud Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 just better graphics imo. the main reason i won't activate windows 7 installs or upgrade to windows 8 is i cannot get san andreas to run on those systems. san andreas had best voice acting bar none "say what smoke?!! all you managed to do was eat my dam food up!" The Gardener Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Story-line is a matter of opinion. You can't state it as a fact that IV has that over SA. In my opinion SA had a better story. It's just brought down by CJ doing work for the government and breaking into area 69. Mike Toreno and the Truth are arguably the best GTA characters of all time but the missions they gave CJ didn't suit the game. In a factual way, IV has better graphics, better physics, better sound and an epic multiplayer. SA had more mini-games, more freedom, and Mike Toreno. Compare the the time when san andreas was released in 2004 and how much fun everyone had playing the game to the time gta iv was released and how much fun everyone had playing the game... it is clear that san andreas was a lot more fun than gta iv. i cant play san andreas anymore.. the physics have spoiled me.. but it is clear that san andreas was the better game with respect to their own release dates. I'm still seeing billboards that I've never seen, or even little nooks of the city I've never been into. Probably the best example was when I found a little path along the shore of Bohan, it's hidden away, and you wouldn't notice its existence unless you went to go investigate a dirt ramp over by Elizibeta's apartment, but it offered almost an hour of fun with a Sanchez when I first found it. Magic_Al Posted December 8, 2012 Share Posted December 8, 2012 I'll admit SA on a console is hard to look at compared to IV, but playing the PC version of SA at least gives it HD resolution and decent draw distance and then it's not so hard to get back into the style of it.
