How do YOU run GTA IV?

I use the lowest resolution with high reflections,high texture qualty,all shadows OFF!!!,

Water quality I can run high well,but I prefer using low,because it has a smoother view and water

reflections.Also,view/details to 1/20-25

And V-sync on.Ofcourse no need to mention that definition is on(duh)

Also,because this is a gritty city,I put contrast and saturation both to 100.

 

EDIT: I don't have a stable FPS on my laptop.I don't know my laptop's specs (hey you there,stop laughing!)

but Fraps shows 16-25 FPS.The game itself runs very smoothly though.

lol, "shadows off" "maxed out" those 2 things doesn't fit together. "everything maxed out" means EVERYTHING, but since u have ur shadows OFF, means it's not EVERYTHING maxed out.

 

also, impossible that u can have such high FPS on a bad optimized game. try again dude.

 

anyway, i'm running almost everything maxed out, only the sliders r at 50 due to no big change from 100 to 50. running with around 30-40 FPS on 1680x1050 res

My benchmark test with mid-high settings shows 10-13 fps only,but the game runs very nice and it is smooth.I mean,the benchmark shows 10 fps but the game doesn't lag at all.

Why definition off? It doesn't cause lag and all it does is ungrain and clear the screen.
