Installed only the GTA IV and Social Club and after installing, it went though activation via Manual Activation, because the GTA IV "Release date check" stops at 30%, so i had to click on "Active manually" button and everything went well.....but when press play from social club, again it asks for "Release date check", am stuck here. Can anyone help on this issue? radioman Posted November 21, 2012 Share Posted November 21, 2012 What is the Video card? What is the Total VRAM? How Much VRAM is Dedicated? Is this the Retail(DVD) version OR a Downloaded version? If Downloaded, from where? If Retail, Is this the Original DVD being used OR A No-DVD crack? Any Mods/trainers used? This is a Original DVD - I got serial key for GTA IV and also for Episodes. No Mods/trainers used. Yes, i have installed DAEMON Tools Pro on this PC, but this was like an year ago, others games are working fine till now, but only this game am not able to make it play. Red Hat Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 Re-Install GTA IV then : Download the latest patch from : http://rockstarsupport.zendesk.com/entries...-0-5-2-japanese Then download the latest Games For Windows Live from : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/977845 Make sure you have .Net Framework 3.5.1 installed in your PC if not then download from : http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17851 Now try to open the game. Patch, Games for Windows Live are already updated and installed. .Net Framework is updated now. The problem is before the game starts i get this "Release Date Check" screen....it shows the progress bar, but stops at 30% and i get next screen with button options, 3 of them, "Activate manually", "Retry" and "Cancel".........nothing happens when i click Activate manually.
