The Alamo Sea screens looks the screen was shot during the high tide. The Alamo Sea may be dirty and salty but still looks gorgeous in that screen. Rockstar hasn't even shown us a glimpse of the ocean. I'm thinking they are really hiding some important aspects of the game and this keeps me even more excited. When I look out at the bay between the two islands in FC3,I think that could be the same as looking across the Alamo Sea. The water won't be as clear though. The water in light blue or cyan, wouldn't it be nice? Also, I saw an article on ign.com, they mentioned that the water in the Alamo Sea (Salton Sea) will be more muddy and brownish. What do you guys think? This isn't the Bahamas. The water in LA isn't crystal clear as you've described. It's not dirty, but it's not like it is in the tropics. S1LV3R_W0LF Posted May 20, 2013 Share Posted May 20, 2013 Well since you had to unearthing this, all we know about the water is that the physics look amazing and realistic with waves and oscillation in the sea, it will change according to the weather conditions and can be muddier or more clear when we dive in it, so rivers could be greener and look like a swamp and the sea more of a blue tone depending on how deep you are. Imagine you on a jet skii with flame shorts or sunset shorts with a light green bandanna on your forehead and a nice shiny chain during daytime speeding through the waves at the beach with people tanning and swinming and playing beach ball with dogs running around them. I was thinking about the water/ weather and other games that had that and looked great and I remembered AC3 with all the mud and water puddles and this came to my mind, I'm wondering if there will be a "dive" option for our characters. I mean like in AC3 when you could dive into the water from high places, GTAV will also have rivers and mountains and big ships in the sea, so I wonder if there will be a feature to dive???
