The water in light blue or cyan, wouldn't it be nice? Also, I saw an article on ign.com, they mentioned that the water in the Alamo Sea (Salton Sea) will be more muddy and brownish. Seriously? This is the internet, that was history; grow a f*cking backbone. There's worse things to be offended by, look around. On-Topic: I think the water looks great. I was really impressed with the water in GTA IV and RDR. R* did a good job with creating the kind of water around LC with litter and stuff. However, when you looked into a swimming pool in GTA IV, it used the same water shaders as the ocean, so it didn't really look like a pool at all, more like a lake since it was dark coloured. GTA V has definately got better water, and it was mentioned in the previews, such as the ocean around Vespucci Beach being really bright cyan, and then images of the Alamo Sea which looks really brown, and of course the shots of Michael's pool which looks great. It all ties in with that sunny environment of Los Santos, compared with the polluted city in IV. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It may be a stretch (but what isn't at this point), but having that factor could affect gameplay in positive and negative ways. Say you need to be at the beach for a certain objective, but high tide is in and you have to wait. Then you can decide to wait (or sleep) it out in your car until it subsides. Generally, it wouldn't so much as a vital mechanic, but something to add to the "depth" (pun intended) of the game. But on that same note, one might think that it's a ploy by the game developer to enlongate the game, thus only taking you out of the experience. It's an idea to think about though. It's actually one of the features that surprised me when it was confirmed to be in-game, I can't wait to see how they handle any sealife and stuff. red555 Posted November 21, 2012 Share Posted November 21, 2012 you could see waves from the shot in the first trailer where the man, woman and dog are standing on the beach at sunset. water looks darker at sunset with mild waves. you can guarantee when winds is up the waves will be bigger.
