SunnyDaMutt Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 in the trailer lamar says he's cool and franklin says 'cool wit what slingin dope an throwin up gang signs?', this doesnt mean he's not in a gang he could still be in the gang with lamar, alot of people in gangs regret that they are an wanna get out, he neva says he's not in a gang but he obviously has a negative attitude towards it, buh idk seems like its confirmed that he's an EX member. but ex gang members still put in work... honeslty in all realness there aint no such thing as a ex-gang member, once you down you down fa life, now seeing how franklin is doing his thing with the car dealership, they probably are letting him go an do his own thing because he better off now, but if they need him he's still a 'grove' or a 'familie' and thats just what it is. so expect many missions were he's gettin calls from lamar or the big homie to go do some work for the fam,, there will probably be choices to, like having to decide between helpin the old homies out or doin something else thats urgent and it will probably change yur gameplay wit franklin alot may even become straight up enemies of his old set. who knows, cant wait. kesta195 Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 I think Franklin either used to be in a gang, or is trying to leave it behind, while Lamar is staying put and trying to coax Franklin back in. It'd be interesting if they were/are in the Ballas, but I have a hunch that there will be totally new gangs in V, no Grove Street, Ballas, Aztecas or Vagos in sight. Rockstar pobably wants to contrast SA to not trip over themselves, especially since Grove had named leaders, wile Balas were pretty vague. That, or a new IV-era gang, I know. I was just joking. About that "gang signs" Franklin mentions in the trailer: that actually leads me to believe that he ISN'T in a gang. He's making fun of Lamar who is.
