PC, this isn't even a discusion.

Between the 360 and the PS3, i guess they'll be nearly identical, but history teaches us that the 360 generally speaking has better looking multiplats.

PC of course. PC always had best graphics.

Not always.

There's an example even on the GTA series, the Xbox versions of III and Vice City are better than the PC versions.

Yeah, maybe a couple of effects, but the PC version still has a higher resolution, draw distance,... plus it can be modded

As has been said a million times, obviously PC is the correct answer. Duh. But I don't have a good PC that can run current high end software, so I don't give a sh*t about that.

I have GTA IV on 360 and PS3, and the 360 version definitely looked better. A small but specific example: In the 360 version, sunrise and sunset looked nice and natural. In the PS3 version, it looked like everything was spray painted orange.

With cross platform console games this gen, the 360 version was usually the best, and the PS3 version was inferior. This is because the 360 is essentially a closed architecture PC in a console shell, and even the most inept programmer in the world can write decent code for PC with his eyes closed. While on the other hand Sony has always designed each Playstation from the ground up as a proprietary piece of weird alien hardware. The developers have to learn everything from scratch, and it takes them a long time to figure out how to make it do the same stuff. It doesn't help that Sony withholds some secrets that devs could really use to good effect. Well the good news is that this far along into this gen, most developers have gotten the hang of it by now, and very often these days the PS3 versions are at least on par with the 360 versions, if not better. Personally, I'm betting on the PS3 version this time around. I think it's very likely the 360 version isn't going to fit on one DVD, and I would prefer not to have to switch discs.

LOL at adding the PC, make it obvious why not.

PC>PS3=360 imo. They will be very similar but nothing compared to the PC ( unless we get a crappy port, even then it will still look better, just not as much as it could... in which ENB will come out and fix that...hopefully)

Of course PC will look better; my 386SX PC can produce better visuals than the PS3/360. cool.gif

Obviously the PC version, Xbox 360 and PS3 have the same graphics. It just depends what kind of tv you have/

I just depends on your PC. We know a quality PC will definitely be the best platform if we get a PC version, but some of the sh*ttiest looking videos I've seen online come from the PC version.

So the best looking version will be PC and the worst looking version will also be PC.

Err.. The pc version is gonna look better than any consoles out now (including Wii U).. that's a given.

But between the ps3 and 360, I think its gonna be the ps3, 'cuz its the lead console (as GI pointed out).

Depends whose PC really - on my PC it'll look like shít because I'll have to run it on the lowest settings, but on a fanboy's PC it'll look great at a cost of only £1,500.

So, somebody who has a greater PC than you = fanboy? suicidal.gif

Do people who make these kind of polls really expect consoles to have better graphics than pc? -.-

Lets wait until the PS4/XBOX 720 comes out, I bet they are gonna make them have the specs of a high end PC to compete with all the PC fanboys who think in no way can the consoles compete.

a pc right now is alot stronger then the ps4 and the xbox 720

i would say next gen consoles will have about the same power as a normal highend pc

normal quad core cpu 1 gb graphics memory maybe 1.5

8 gb of ram

ssd

edit i thought you said compete with pcs not fanboys disregard what i said

Oh my god, GTAForums has the most blind and uninformed fanboys i've ever seen really lol.gif

As of yet, Out of both consoles according to the rumours their specs are equivalent to a Mid End PC, You fail big time man. lol.gif

your thinking in terms of RAM and CPU power.

what has to be looked at is the total eliminations of an operating system. consoles have direct cpu to gpu data transfer. there's no operating system in the background running with about 10-20 applications.

with the current gen on a HDMI cable, its hard to tell any graphical difference to the average gamer.

next gen consoles will blow current PC specs out of the water. because its direct data transfers... yeah give it 4 years and then PC will catch up.

xbox only has something like 512MB of graphics RAM.... but it doesnt need anymore. there no windows 7/vista eating away the resources.

We don't know what kind of hardware they will be packing yet.

So assuming they will be on par with High End PC's is fine?

They are rumoured to be using APU chips so will be mid range no matter that happens and many rumours using something similar to a HD7770 which is a mid range (lower) graphics card.
