Xbox 360 will have better graphics than ps3, this is confirmed by rockstar themselves because when IGN went to rockstar they played the 360 verion, that means the xbox is the primary development console for the game, so the ps3 version will be a direct port of the 360 version.

Here's the specs of both the PS3 and 360.

 

Xbox

CPU:Custom IBM Power-PC Based

Three symmetrical cores running at 3.2 GHz each

GPU:Custom ATI GPU 500MHz

512 MB GDDR3 RAM

 

PS3

CPU:PowerPC-base Core @3.2GHz ,which is pretty much the same as the one the Xbox uses.

GPU: RSX @550MHz

256MB XDR Main RAM @3.2GHz(main system RAM)

256MB GDDR3 VRAM @700MHz(for graphics)

i read on one of the interviews that GTA V was perfect for the current consoles, as it'll use maximum capabilities, and is optimised to the max [hence the great detailed screens]

 

gta will be optimised for both xbox and ps3.

The GPU from the PS3 is Nvidia based, but a year older than the 360's Radeon HD based GPU. There have been exclusive games on the PS3 that looks eye-candied which the 360 cannot compete (ex. Uncharted). The 360 has its ups and downs on the graphics department depending on the games I'm playing. Other than that, they're fair. I'm saying this as a opinion, so versions differ on the graphics while the gameplay remains the same. I always despise fanboys, they really annoy me as protesters making the ruckus at the streets. I'm always a PC gamer first and a console gamer second, so I picked which is obvious.

I didn't want to list a whole spec sheet, just tried to make a point.

 

And when you read graphics on a game context, it may be safe to assume we're working with a few FPS. To be fair, we should be talking about graphics in reference to a specific FPS, same for every platform.

 

Either way, my point being the same, it depends.

I agree, in that it also depends a lot on how well they develop it for PC. How much they optimize it and so on.

There are games that run great on poor hardware, and others that need unreleased hardware to run it to it's full potential.

oh yeah this again...but like i said in another thread, replying to fool, who said something similar to you...yes...seems like playing with better controls (mouse+keyboard) which gives more smooth feeling, instead of some jaggy annoying crap, better graphics with anti-aliasing, supersampling and so on and in a top of that being able to mod your game to no extent must be gay...seems legit ...go with your biased annoying crap somewhere else, because if someone sounds gay that gotta be you...
