Jewstinian
I love Crown Victorias. I was a bit disappointed to see that they replaced the police cars with a different type of brand.
Hmmm nice bike
I love Crown Victorias. I was a bit disappointed to see that they replaced the police cars with a different type of brand. For GTA V? I think the backs are still Crown Victorias, but the fronts look like the Chevy Caprice squad cars, which is kinda strange, since those haven't been used since at least 1997. In real life, of course, Crown Vics are no longer in production as far as I know, and are slowly being phased out as squad cars.
Toni Rizzino
It seems like they replaced the cop cars with 1995 Impalas. Oh cockstar.
mvega0422
As an American, I absolutely love Crown Victorias, but I'm happy to see that the Los Santos patrol cars aren't CV's anymore because it's more realistic. I believe many police departments in the US are basing their patrol cars off a new vehicle (called simply "Interceptor") ... I could be wrong but Crown Vics are starting to be considered old school. Plus, many different police departments in the US use custom squad cars, such as Dodge Chargers or Chevy Camaros. Actually now that I think about it, they even had the Charger cruiser in GTA IV (Police Buffalo or w/e).

But the sherrif vehicle we saw was the most accurate crown vic cruiser they had so far, and the police cruiser on the first trailer was accurate too

I do agree though, the front end change is kinda strange, how they're using a vehicle design that hasn't been around since the late 90s or early 00s in any major department. I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a police version of Charger R/T. That must be why they are so popular among police/emergency services/taxi companies all over the US. They are, that's why their being phased out, as police cars, taxis...probably one of the ugliest cars ever made, fkn hideous gas guzzling monster, performance lacking made with CHEAP CHEAP materials, btw, the POPO modify their CV because there sh*t, and taxis used them because they hade good rear leg room LOL the only positive point, but besides that they were CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP for a "luxury sedan", + why wouldn't the US government buy a car from a company subsidiez by it's own government LOL, fkn retard. VC= Top 50 sh*ttiest cars ever made LOLZ e. Interesting i have owned three Grand Marquis' (basically a crown vic with frills) 1996 total loss(hit by a truck) at 298k miles and the engine started like it was brand new, a 2004 total loss(hit by a semi-truck) at 334k miles no issues , and right now a 2003 with 133k miles, pieces of crap for cars that are very reliable and get the job done police do not modify the cop cars, taxi companies buy them because the engine and trans is practically bullet proof, they ride very smooth, and they are easy to fix and power is just enough to get the job done. the only reason they are being phased out is because Ford refuses to invest in the platform with more stringent government regulation(Stability control becoming mandatory). This can be seen as early as 2002 when they began heavily decontenting the cars. And no significant improvements to the power of the motors since 2004. other than that most agencies are only buying these other vehicles because of mandatory replacements after certain mileage. Anabolic
not to mention some of the best selling American vehicles of all time They're still crap. Suspension is like a springboard and cornering feels like you're riding a drunken grizzly on a wet swamp. It's a comfortable budget car that gives a soft and lazy ride in real life. I still don't want to drive those in the game. You what else is crap in America? Your showers and faucets. I mean we used to have similar pieces of crap in Finland 40–50 years ago, and I swear on my grandmom's grave I'm not BS'ing here. Just because your country has something in bulk, it doesn't mean they're automatically good.

Just because your country has something in bulk, it doesn't mean they're automatically good. its a 4000lb+ sedan thats made for "soft and lazy ride" its not a sports car or even a sports sedan. you get it now? its a simple car that gets you from point a to point b without tiring you out, and it does it very safely, if you want something that handles like a sports car or sports sedan then buy one simple as that. my shower and faucets keeps my ass clean and my teeth bright white so i could give a f*ck less. and no where did i mention American superiority anywhere in my last post let alone any post ever. you are showing your bias. They have stockpiled about 600 CVPIs and won't pick a replacement vehicle until late 2013. http://www.policemag.com/blog/vehicles/sto...-crown-vic.aspx Cheers!
