Do you want the hungry thing to be back

I found that giving SA lots of realism, you had to eat to be alive but it was annoying at some points, we didnt have it in IV, personally, i want it to return in V.

I just started replaying the storyline from SA and I only ate 3 burgers at the beginning of the game when you have to read because Ryder makes you. And I ate a few times when I went to dinner with Michelle ((?) Las Venturas casino girl)

So you only need to eat a few times throughout the whole game, so personally, I don't care if it's back or not. Would be nice, but don't care if it's not.

* Shoot a rabbit on the forest.

* Make a bonfire with your flint.

* Feel like Bear Grylls.

this would be awesome, but i dont think this would be in v, even if it was in it, we woulnd't eat bugs and flies like real bear grylls turn.gif

It would be ok if it was an option. Like we didn't have to do to it, but if we did we got a health bonus or something. Like if we get rich we can have realistic steak or even eat a goose cause we're classy.

I hated it.

I don't want to have to eat when I don't want to.

I don't want to hit someone 60 times to kill them because I didnt go to the gym.

I don't want to fall off a bike because I didn't ride it enough.

San Andreas was the worst thing to happen to GTA

There's a good reason hunger was taken out in IV. I don't want it back for V. It is a chore. Virtual eating is a chore. I don't play video games to do chores! What, is there going to be a doing homework and taxes mechanic next?

I hope there lots of animals to kill, not just rabbits. Like it would be cool to go to a pond in the city and shoot some ducks and goose. Also imagine riding through Los Santos on a muda fugin cow like sh*t, and poppin caps in all the peds asses as they walk down the street.

Forced eating was one of the worst things I've ever seen put into a game. I liked just walking/driving around exploring the map. After 40 minutes I'd get the blip in the corner that CJ's hungry. Well I didn't give a rat's ass, I was doing my own thing exploring the forest. Two minutes later it blips again and his fat bar decreases a unit. Okay still not close to civilization, ignore it. Another two minutes and the fat bar blips again. Jesus enough already. Or those times I'm flying the hydra and it starts to come up. Now I have to stop what I'm doing, land my plane, and go feed him. Thank god there was a cheat to stop the hunger stat.

It wasn't even necessary in the main game since you "ate" every time you saved your game, which I did often. The only purpose it served was to make him fatter, and that could have been done at the start of the game with a character editor. Make a fat CJ at the start and he stays fat. If you change your mind later and want him thin again then you can head to the gyms or pork him by stuffing 13 pizzas down his gullet. But it shouldn't have been so invasive.

Starvation was one of the worst things to ever come to gta. you even said yourself that it was annoying. And you want it BACK? Well guess what... Its not coming back.

No it was f*cking stupid how can you have the character get hungry in a few hours real world time when in game times goes at one minute per second.

I agree with this guy. CJ only ate like every 4 days LOL. If your going to implement it, make it work right atleast. Even then it's stupid and shouldn't be in it.

The hunger system didn't give any freedom at all -- if anything, it was annoying. I still remember trying to accomplish 100% on the firefighter missions and suddenly got hungry (ended up dying at level 11, such a disgrace sad.gif ). It really restricted what I needed to do just because CJ needed a burger. While it does approach realism, it'd just be a nuisance like it was in GTA SA.

Did no-one esle just eat like 11 burgers in a row, I think he puked on the 12th.

Or 9 burgers and 2 salads for the healthier option.

It kept him good for a while.

Sorry, OP, I thought you meant Mike McShane at first. smile.gif

I thought it was quite cool in GTA:SA... I wouldn't want to go as far as finite fuel and such, but going for food often offered a funny interlude during the serious business of wholesale slaughter.

That still doesn't explain why in the hell I have to maintain a virtual diet. Seriously, I'm trying to enjoy myself swimming, killing, and flying here. Why the f*ck am I supposed to be more interested in eating digital salad?

I only liked it in SA for losing muscles, so i could win the triathlons, other than that is just useless, wouldnt mind if is not added.

I liked it better in IV, where you ate to replenish health...

me too. San Andreas annoyed me with being hungry all the time. and sometimes out of nowhere.

I hope so. As part of the fun and vibrant economy, there should be lots of food available.

Changing your diet will have pros and cons. High carb diet will give you more stanima etc.

There will onviously be sh*tting dynamics too. If you dont eat right, you will end up like Trevor having trouble taking a sh*t.

Now if you rip your arsehole due to a monster constipation, you will loose health.

I guess the same reason you enjoy swimming in a digital ocean, shooting at digital people or flying in a virtual atmosphere.

Everyone likes different things. Your not going to change their mind.

Variety is the spice of life.

Now go fill up your vitual gas and buy your virtual cheeseburger and hope you enjoyed Trevors dynamics in bowel movement.
