Should hunting be included as a mini game, maybe as a friend activity? I would be all for it since there is country side included in game the inclusion of wildlife and hunting would be fun.

Hunting? what next ballet dancing? it's not GTA

It's better than Yoga.

Besides, we need something new. You can't keep playing the same mini games for years and years in GTAs just because new ones "wouldn't be GTA".

Hell Yes, if there are several/lots kinds of animal then it would be awesom, also if they could like make it a real hunting challenge like "take this weapon and find and kill that, and use this to draw them closer"

*Face/palm*

Here's how I imagine hunting in GTA:

Somewhere along the storyline once you've reached the wilderness, there's a character you meet and possibly do some missions for. At some point, through him you unlock hunting missions, but it's not so much a "go here, do this" actual mission.

Instead you are given lists, each new one with progressively rarer animals on it that can be found in the game, similar to car lists in GTA3/VC.

Anytime you encounter one of the animals on the list and kill it (in free play or on during other missions), it get's checked off the list. Every time you complete a list, you get some cool reward (Something huntery), and unlock the next list.

Some animals don't ever appear on a list. Basically secret animals, like the Great white shark, and the now-extinct-in-Cali Grizzly, Gray Wolf, and jaguar, which would each reward you with something special, and then even rarer animals like Chupacabras, sasquatch, and the most fearsome of all, the Jackalope. They could reward you with super special stuff!

The rarest secret animals would be so rare that you'd be unlikely to run into them unless you spent the whole time in the wilderness over about 168 hours of gameplay. The other secret animals would be around the 24 hour mark, and then the listed animals would be anywhere between 6 hours (rare) and 1 minute (common).

Hunting isn't gta, but playing pool or bowling is? I think it will be a fun thing tot do besides the regular missions or compete with friends via multiplayer. I also enjoyed pool or bowling, I didn't play it that much though every know and then it's fun and I think a hunting minigame which is a little bit thought through,is more fun than pool. So imo it's worth it..

Yeah well was Golfing, customizing clothes, playing arcade games or any thing like that a part of GTA? No. Not until they brought it into it.

I wouldn't mind seeing it in the game, though, I'm pretty sure PETA will have a field day with V if it is. We'll have to see I guess.

Why? RDR had it, and besides that there's HUNDREDS of hunting sims that are obviously specifically about hunting, and peta didn't get those banned.

I would like that Dynamic Event from RDR where this dude in the middle of the desert challenges you to shoot more birds out of the sky than he does.

That was awesome, fun and a nice way to make some extra buck

Why does it need to be an activity?

You should be able to hunt anytime.

exactly, hunting mini game would be kinda redundant, you don't need a mission marker to tell you when to hunt. Just do it.

This why another system would be better:

That way, you can still hunt whenever you want, but there's still objectives and rewards.

Hunting? what next ballet dancing? it's not GTA

guns? this is gta not a gun range

interaction with pedestrians? this is gta not the sims

racing? this is gta not a racing sim

fact is, the compilation of all of these fun activities are what makes GTA what it is.

Shooting a dog on V would piss PETA off more than a real life legal activity such as hunting being included.

OT: It would be cool if you have to go to some shack or ranger station and they charge you a fee to register and purchase clothes, that way you spend more money, and hunting can help you earn some back, and like real life, if you shoot the wrong kind of animal, they'd fine you.

Doubt it'll be a real activity but you never know.

I see a lot of you quoting me, what i'm saying is Hunting is cool but it shoud stay in the hunting games (Big Game Hunter....) Yoga is bad enough

Shut up you stupid twat. Hunting is completely different from ballet and its not like hunting don't fit into GTA, you still kill things. Now stop being a stroppy little girl and stop being negative.
