Now to be serious, there should be every wildlife animal in forests which live in reallife south california, like birds, lizards and different kind of bears and so on. As "pets" I think dogs are enough. Farm animals such as Horses, Cows, Sheeps and co. should be included too. We also shouldn't forget about the life in the waters. Maybe a whale? Do whales exist in South Californian waters? Dolphins should be included too aswell as many different types of fishes and turtles. And ride-able horses would be a huge bonus, but not likely. seeing chickens run around the farmland would add a nice touch, too. With what we know about the various previews stating that R* has been saying from the top of the mountains to the depths of the ocean, it would seem we would see some various different water life. It would be great to see some sharks, different colorful fish to keep the water life fresh. In the wilderness I would like bears to keep up on our toes, foxs, rabbits, cows, and deers would be great. First of all LA and surroundings is infamous for 3 animals that cause lots of problems as well as attacks: -Coyotes, both within the city and in the urban areas and wilderness. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelly_Keen_coyote_attack They can use the models straight from RDR -Black Bears. very common throughout the wildernesses of California and sometimes ventures in to urban environments to go through the trash cans They could use the grizzly model from RDR, make it black, make it smaller and alter it's form to be less bulky - Mountain Lions, Last fatal attack in the OC: Mark Jeffrey Reynolds, 35, male January 8, 2004 Attacked and killed while mountain biking at Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park in southern Orange County, California They could use the RDR mountian lion Model. Mountain lions of RDR was one of the coolest things about the whole game. Man were they nasty they could almost kill you intantly and would always attach out of ambush. They were frighting! They need to come back for sure. There were 3 more dangerous animals in RDR that also occur in California, and they could easily re-use the model: - Fox, this animal usually would run away and rarely would attack, which was realistic as a fox only attacks when they have rabies. So if they did attack I considered the fox to have rabies - Bobcat, same story as the fox - Wild Boar (imported from Europe), these guys were mean and dangerous and always attacked, they need to come back for sure Other animals in RDR that will appear most certainly: - Elk, now this was the only animal I was not happy about in RDR. Yes they look great but they always ran away from you. Statisticially speaking Elk is North America's most dangerous animal (mainly because people are too stupid to try to get close to it after it stomps in to the ground). Just search for Elk attack on Google and see how many different entries you get. - Raccoons - Mountain sheep - Skunks - Deer (white tail) - Armadillo's - Birds: Bald Eagle, Hawk, Duck, songbirds - Domestic animals: Goats, cow, rabbit, chickens, pigs, sheep, dogs, cats, etc Last but not least there was the: - Rattle Snake, man were they awesome they made sure for some cool random situation; I remember being in a shoot out with those miners, I was on top of a ridge. While I moved to another cover spot I got bitten by a Rattler and rolled down the hill with all the miners shooting at me. That was just awesome. Also I remember another time I saw this random ped jumping of his horse to take a piss. He get's attacked by several coyotes which he kills with his gun, he then walks back to his horse and gets bit by a rattle snake and dies. lol. Yes, when talking large wild mammals Elk has the most number of attacks on humans in North America. I am not talking deaths or heavy injuries, but just attacks overal. Not sure which year it was but w Yellowstone had 150 attacks by elks on Humans within one year. It surpussed the attacks of all other animals combined.
