What are you most worried about in GTAV?

My biggest worry is that the map will be too small, recent analyses of the sizes of SA, IV, and RDR show that the 3 combined are only about 30 square miles, I was hoping for something more like 60. My second biggest concern is how multiple discs will be handled for the 360, the whole map needs to be on every disc, I don't want to have to change discs to drive through the whole map or something crazy, as long as it's like LA Noire where you only have to change discs to do certain missions, I'll be ok.

The only thing I worry about are them trying to cater to the people who want them to keep remaking San Andreas but I don't think they will. The three characters will have plenty of depth.

the damn smart phone ringing all the time.

missions that trigger all by themselves.

in both cases, bugger off, I'm busy!

I worried that we get almost everything at the srart, what do we work for later in the game?

Oh don't worry. Rockstar will most likely ensure you have something to work for, and give you very little to start out with (in comparison to what you WILL get).

I feel sorry for R* when it comes to pleasing GTA fans, I really do, they're so unbelievably polarized. When IV came out, legions of people whined about it being too serious and that it "didn't feel like GTA" and that they wanted another SA-style game. Now I'm hearing a ton of people saying they want V to be serious like IV and tone down the humour we've seen in the trailers. I'm not sure it's even possible to find a happy medium because people are always gonna nitpick from what little they've seen thus far.

You sir, hit the nail on the head. Could not have said it better myself.

There is a simple solution for those who aren't happy with GTA V: don't play the bloody thing! Rockstar will make millions off the copies they sell to the people who aren't whiny losers who pick over every little detail in the game.

Cheers!

I don't hear anyone complaining that v won't be serious enough, in fact I hear people shinning it won't be enough like San Andreas hence a lack of customization

The thing is we want more and more, what to sacrifice gameplay or graphics? Why do I have to choose daddy? I want it all!

I just don't see why people want it to be more like a next gen san andreas. I want something new, not an update of a game that isn't even that old yet. R* is always about pushing games and doing an "HD San Andreas" would of been cool and all, but that's not what they are about, and I love them for it.

I'm worried if the AI would be improved or not. I wouldn't really care too much if not, but having the same improved AI as Max Payne 3 would be epic.

What I worried about is the possibility that R* listened to the whiny minority and screwed ip the driving physics. They were the best part of IV to me and I cringe at the possibility of them regressing back to SA's physics.

they wouldn't go back to SA driving physics

for there to be strong enough weapons in MP for me to destroy the sky p*ssies. That is all.

I'm worried they're be no tanks, or the trains won't actually be drivable. I'm also worried that OTT weapons won't return like flamethrowers and miniguns. That's about it though, I'm looking forward to everything else.

This minigun should be mounted at the military base.

I'm pumped, but these are 5 things I'm worried about

1. Malls, Shopping Centers, Clothing Stores, Restaurants, and etc haven't been announced yet, I hope there are a variety of those in each area.

2. I'm worried that only heists, robberies, and hostage missions are only story missions. I hope we can initiate little robberies, heists, and take someone hostage on our own/side mission

3. I am worried the Game will be short because nowadays, game companies are making games shorter to focus on multiplayer. I know this is Rockstar I'm talking about, but I really want the game to be long. Like 50 hours long. No, mabye 40 hours

4. I am worried that cheats will restrict me from saving. I know cheats will probably restrict me from small certain achivements like, "Completing all Side Missions for 50G". Yes, I know some people on this forum don't play the story with cheats and they wait until they finish the game to put cheats in. And there are some idiot elitists out there who think GTA is the end all, be all of gaming and they think cheats are for children and people who can't play GTA. I actually use cheats during every GTA's story. But I'm kinda in the middle. I don't use crazy cheats. In GTA 4, the only cheats I used were the No Cops, Weather, Guns, and Weather cheat. That's it. I am planning on beating GTA 5 without cheats to see what beating a GTA without cheats is like. I might use cheats down the road though. But I hope cheats won't just forbid me form SAVING THE GAME. This is GTA I'm talking about. Cheats are just, acceptable in GTA. I'm not talking about Mass Effect or Splinter Cell.

5. I just really want the world to feel like a living, breathing city. I want variety in each neighborhood, store, mall, etc.

the only thing I ever use cheats for is to repair my car. I hate having broken lights and dents and stuff. I like my car to be slick and unharmed! cool.gifbiggrin.gif

AI driving needs improved big time.

I'm worried the story might be short.

Oh, definitely this. It would be a real let down if they gave you this huge, immersive map with three playable characters and loads of new features and gave it a story as short as TLAD.

Triple Vacuum Seal

I worry about it being far less boring than IV, but still boring after a couple of years.

Not too worried though. Even IV was one of my favorite games.

I hope they improve the traffic/car spawning.

How can I be the only car in sight on a fourway in Manhattan?????

Oh my god THIS. I hated more than anything else how in GTA IV you would stop at a light and every single car would either smash into your rear and yell some profanity at you or they would drive around you and try to overtake you. Also, how I would be driving though like Times Square and I would be the ONLY one there. Literally, me, NO pedestrians, NO other cars, and 1 bus parked on the side of the road. Like honestly, come on. Its NYC for god's sake. I sure hope that in V, a heavily populated city doesn't have abandoned streets in the middle of the day. On the other hand, I also hope that when I drive on an obsolete road far away from civilization and the big city, in the middle of the woods or desert or up near Mt. Chilliad, etc. there isn't like, dense traffic and tons of cars like in SA. That bothered me a lot.

I'm only worried about 2 things.

- The number of discs it will be on Xbox 360.

- The size of the city itself, not counting the surroundings. (I have a feeling it'll be relatively small)

I'm worried the story might be short.

The story will be probably not the longest but you can play the story from three point of views. You can switch in free roam and in certain missions between the protagonists which means the game won't be only like you play the story seperate from three point of views like GTA EfLC with GTA IV but more like if you play as for example Trevor in a robbery, and then you switch to Michael to do another part of the mission, then the result might be different than if you play Michael and then Trevor. It all depends on how complexe the system will be. If it's very complexe then the replay-value will be significantly higher than in any game from Rockstar Games in the past. This is probably one of the reasons why Rockstar decided to make multiple protagonists because the replay-value increases a lot.

Glad they couldnt be f*cked to have a long story after five years of development. Fantastic. I guess it was too hard to buy property too, they only were able to do it TEN YEARS ago in vice city. Nope, its too hard to do now, we're too stupid and lazy to have buyable property then, is what they are admitting. For me what I was most worried about(property buying) has already happened.

Not in order

MY MAIN CONCERNS

They muck the driving handling and physics up (IMO GTA 4 was fine)

Lack of stuff to do outside of missions (or in Free Roam mode)

Lack of FUN things to buy

Not being able to fully use things like fork trucks, tow trucks, Trucks n trailers (being able to attach + detach)

Not being able to performance upgrade vehicles

I prefer multiplayer to single player, so I hope they give us lots to do in multiplayer and lots of customizable options too with plenty of race tracks (and make them reversible too)

The storyline length and

3 protagonists, i am not that worried anymore about the fact that there will be 3 of them, but it could still go to hell.

Here are some things I'm worried about:

Me trying to explore and having a dog jump on me.

Micheal being the antagonistic and now being able to play as him after I beat the game. IF I beat the game that is. I've never beaten a GTA game before but I am determined to beat GTA V.

Not being able to change Franklin's clothes. I hate what he's wearing and they only mentioned being able to buy new clothes for Micheal. Though I'm sure you can cause in one screenshot Trevor is wearing a blue jacket and in one of the pre-order posters you see Franklin wearing a white tank top.

They mentioned airport security being though and I'm worried about not being able to fly around as Trevor at the start of the game which is one of the first things I wanna do.

They mentioned if you want to get one of the nice cars early in the game you have to work for it, and I'm worried about not being able to beat the game and never getting to cruise around Los Santos in a cool car.

They mentioned also having to work for good guns, and I'm worried about not having good enough guns for missions and my skill and I'll get stuck and never get that awesome gun Trevor has in the Game Informer cover.

The wanted system being a pain in the ass. Shoots 1 bullet, 3 cops out of nowhere start shooting you. Kill the cops, they bring dogs to track you down etc.
