The left screenshot are the real graphics, the right screen is just edited and maybe filtered. Can't believe people still don't realize this: trailers saturation/contrast are different, and sometimes the graphics are filtered to look a little bit cleaner, or make it look more like a trailer. 73duster Posted November 20, 2012 Share Posted November 20, 2012 What I noticed was that the pic on the left has the sunlight directly facing you, while the one on the right doesn't. It's a slightly different angle, and the sun beaming directly in your eyesight will tend to change the contrast on the entire pic. I see no conspiracies here. But i don't think i should have to fear anything, it hasn't happened before with a multiplatform title that 360 version was much less good, if at all. Rockstar have said a couple of times now that they don't photoshop/alter their images. Plus since the demos were on PS3, then all footage/screens would be made using consoles. They are both taken from different angles too. On the left we can see less of the helicopter but the sun is shining through, so there is going to be a lens flare effect. On the right, the building we can see through the window of the helicopter has also moved when compared to it's position in the left one. SO its probably only photoshop. It doesn't matter they are creating it for PC or not [in my opinion]. See the pic carefully the sunshine graphic is realistic and especially see ground and that wheel and the poster sign on the right. English isn't your first language is it? I mean, in the entire run-up to Max Payne 3's release we saw console screenshots (they didn't say it, but it's obvious if you compare it to PC version). When they showed PC screenshots, they made note of it. They're not going to manipulate consumers by showing screenshots from an unannounced platform. You seem to be the guy with the right connections with R*. Could you just ask them if it's possible for them to clearly STATE that ALL the screenshots released t'ill today are indeed non manipulated versions, non-pre-rendered, images and are from Xbox360 and PS3 Only? I know they have to say nothing, but I don't believe they will do it, because no way in hell some of the in-game screenshots are what the game will look like on these consoles, maybe on a Wii U if there was one but not in any of the current Gen consoles, it's just not possible even with the best codding ever made, the hardware can't handle it. Could you ask them to do such statement and clear this once and for all, the trailer had no AA, had lots of jaggies, textures and light were also different, so if you say they don't deceive costumers they can do that right? Isn't it at all possible that Trailer 2 was recorded a while before the screens were taken? For all we know they've had Trailer 2 ready for a few months, and they were just waiting until they saw fit. I'm just saying screenshots labeled Xbox on the Xbox page are from the Xbox 360. If we're seeing media from both platforms that fits what Rockstar is saying about there being no lead platform. It's also possible the trailer is not from the PS3 because it's not practical to make separate trailers for each console and so both Microsoft and Sony will link to it and not say what it is.
