Left - PC/photoshopped pic with lots of post-rendered processing

Right - what we will expect on PS3

I'm not understanding why people keep saying this. Isn't it at all possible that Trailer 2 was recorded a while before the screens were taken? For all we know they've had Trailer 2 ready for a few months, and they were just waiting until they saw fit.

Maybe they have updated graphics PC version yet not confirmed.

Its not confirmed, but that doesn't mean they are not making it.

To me the difference is only in the contrast/colors.

SO its probably only photoshop.

What have they done to Michael's face lol?

See that ground floor and that truck wheel on background and also sunshine.

It doesn't matter they are creating it for PC or not [in my opinion]. See the pic carefully the sunshine graphic is realistic and especially see ground and that wheel and the poster sign on the right.

Personally, I think it's just a different time of the day during this cutscene. The left-hand picture has the sun lower in the sky which is dramatically altering the lighting (including a lot of flare through the helicopter window and on Michael's face). I don't think the screenshot was lifted straight from the trailer, but rather from this in-game cutscene which was probably chosen twice since it shows all the characters interacting.

LOL it doesn't exist a px version! the graphic will be not so different compared to the ps3 version. look gta IV on pc and ps3. there are only a little bit differences!

I honestly don't see that much of a difference at all. What Barguest said..i think that as well.

All screenshots are taken on console. When they show PC screenshots, they always make note of it. I mean, in the entire run-up to Max Payne 3's release we saw console screenshots (they didn't say it, but it's obvious if you compare it to PC version). When they showed PC screenshots, they made note of it.

They're not going to manipulate consumers by showing screenshots from an unannounced platform.

The pics are ps3, just shows how good the ps3 actually is cool.gifcool.gif

I only hope the 360 version will be just as good looking. But i don't think i should have to fear anything, it hasn't happened before with a multiplatform title that 360 version was much less good, if at all. But i agree 100%, for console this is crazy impressive.

and how do you know - for a fact - that it's not the xbox?

OT: the left just looks darker to me, i think time of day, or maybe the screens and trailer were taken from different consoles. Perhaps one is 360 the other ps3 - i remember seeing RDR comparisons and the Xbox version looked darker (or the other way round).

The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

You are missing a point. While they are capturing screenshots from the console version , they can simply turn on heavy post-process effects like motion blur , depth of field , ambient occlusion , bloom, anti aliasing and capture the screenshots with 5 fps. That's why the screens look better.

Honestly, the only difference is that somebody has opened it up in Photoshop and adjusted the Brightness/Contrast/Shadows etc to make it look a little darker and have more 'sleek' to it. The graphics look the same.

So basically, to get the same result, tint your TV to be darker and more saturated in colour if you want the Screenshot version.

The graphics look EXACTLY THE SAME.

The differences are:

The ratio between the width\height of the images, the right one is wider.

The resolution, the left one has higher resolution.

The brightness, the right one is brighter.

The contrast, the left one has more contrast.

The angles are different.

Not the same part of the scenes in both images.

These are not graphics differences, the models are the same, the textures are the same, the draw distance is the same, the reflections are the same.

If you want to compare graphics, then bring us images that don't have all the above differences.

Improved graphic on the screenshot, real graphic on the trailer.

The left screenshot are the real graphics, the right screen is just edited and maybe filtered.

Can't believe people still don't realize this: trailers saturation/contrast are different, and sometimes the graphics are filtered to look a little bit cleaner, or make it look more like a trailer.
