brwhizz
It's not gonna be a DLC, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a separate game called GTA: Las Venturas / Sin City one day. Vice City was a huge success and it's possible they're gonna do something like that with the GTA V franchise. Miami? Las Vegas? San Francisco? Who knows. Just shut the hell up with the NO NO NOs and think outside the box. Having done New York and LA, I can't see Rockstar considering San Francisco and Las Vegas important enough to feature in their own games: surely GTA 5 will allow Rockstar to say everything they need to say about the west coast and America in 2012/2013. But what else could be used? I play every GTA until today but i wouldnt like to see some GTA6- Back in Liberty. When you think about it, Rockstar have pretty much covered every major region of the United States with their open-world games: Liberty City and San Andreas cover New York and California; with Gta 3 they created a city that could be set anywhere between the mid-Atlantic region and the industrial Midwest; Vice City was based on Miami and played on stereotypes about the South; Red Dead Redemption was focused mainly on the South-West, but also took inspiration from the Great Plains, the deep South; Texas, and even the Great Lakes. I think the aim now is less about picking a new place for Rockstar, but what they're going to do with it that's innovative.

Maybe GTA V: Vice City is gonna be a PS4/XBOX 720 title?

I disagree, as your logic would limit the franchise to indefinitely repeating LC and LS. I love New York and L.A. as GTA settings, they are the best America has to offer, but I still think R* could work their magic with new renditions of SF, LV, Miami, and maybe even Washington, D.C. OT: SF or LV as DLC may be technically possible, but it is not economically viable. Map design is very intensive and R* would make much more money dedicating full games to each new setting. You may well be right, but there are no two cities in America quite as universal as New York and LA: the audience can instantly identify with them having grown up on a diet of American film and tv (my own British perspective); Setting a GTA in Baltimore would not have the same effect. I really can't see where GTA will go from here; I'm sure it will go somewhere, but I can't begin to guess. PowerKracker
The largest possibility I see is minor to major alterations to the existing map. It'd be cool to see LS in a different time period for example.
WhiskeyFoxtrot
Very possible, just not plausible. Exactly. Completely possible, but not plausible. Everyone else is spewing, "It's not possible!!".

Kifflom112
The way they are making out GTA V to have the biggest map to date, I don't think they'd put all their resources into creating an extra city just for DLC. We have the described size as bigger than IV, SA and RDR, plus we can even go underwater. DLC is meant to be an add-on, so then there's the technicalities of how would we go from one city to another seamlessly. I'd rather other cities be their own game with lots of detail in the future. You're a forum leader now? Sorry for off topic.

However, I find it interesting that you bring up Baltimore. I assume you've watched The Wire? A Baltimore-based game that also included neighboring D.C. could be pretty awesome. You go from running drugs in the projects of an unfamiliar city and then move on to D.C. to become a political assassin of sorts. Could be interesting. Similarly, the SF bay area could be expanded to include a parody of Oakland, the Redwood forests. Likewise, VC could be expanded to include the Florida keys and Cuba. Even an LV game could feature the endless Nevada desert, and tinier casino towns like Reno and Lake Tahoe. No these places aren't L.A. or NY, but I think they still have a lot to offer. Also, going back and exploring different time periods for these locations (like VC and SA) might give R* more satire to work with. Imagine Oakland and SF during the late 60s with hippies and the black power movement.... could be fun.

Squidgyone
Burnout paradise did it with the extra "Big surf island" although this is a completely different game. So it is achievable but I think the size of the DLC would be a problem. Also it's taken 5+ years to get this far so a new city and story would take a similar time. I think if there is any DLC it will be like EFLC.
