Crumplet
Do you remember in GTA IV when there was constant talk of the serial killer "Eddie Low" and you can actually encounter him given the right circumstances? What if, due to Trevor's personality being a psychopath, maniac, etc, that his acts of violence actually effect the city of LS. You could hear occasional news announcements about "Bain Country's Most Dangerous" and there could be posse's that try to hunt you down like in RDR. I just think It'd be really interesting to have your public acts of violence to actually be noticed and effective. It'd also add a whole lot of sense if you were to wear a mask throughout your massacres, And so people don't know what you look like, you could have your own 'murderer' outfits What'dya guys & gals think? Crumplet
Trevor's probably gonna kill Franklin at some point in the game ---KIFFLOM It's possible, but, considering what Franklin means to Michael I kind of doubt it. Anything is possible, though.
tator1
In my opinion, rockstar likes to use twists in there game, dramatic twists. I believe either something happens to Trevor at some point during the gameplay that drastically changes the outcome. Either he changes, rats or dies. I have a feeling its the least suspected character to have something happen to them. Such as San Andreas, i was shocked when i saw the mission where big smoke was opening the door to the green sabre, i was appalled at the fact he was the one who orcastrated the deal. So maybe something drastic happens with trevor, not him becoming bad but betraying, dying or his life changes. Thank you for whoever edited my stuff and put spoiler tags in there, i forgot that you could do that. Thanks. ll rdny ll
 There is a difference between a psychopath and a serial killer. Trevor may kill without remorse, but he doesn't tape his victims to a table and explain why he's killing them or even follow a set method of operation for the people he kills. Everyone should just stop with this Serial Killer/Trevor talk.

ll rdny ll
No. Because really he isn't. If we're going to the conventional sense of the term, every single major character from the GTA series should be labeled as such.
tator1
Probably ( quess with our choises in the game) one protagonist will kill the other two. My theory is this, something happens along the lines of the story between the 3. Someone either betrays someone, or dies at some point. Rockstar is known for that type of twist to kill someone in the heat of the story when its really getting good, or turn someone against you in the heat of the story. Crumplet
No. Because really he isn't. If we're going to the conventional sense of the term, every single major character from the GTA series should be labeled as such. Obviously, but that's what they seem to be changing this time around. They finally gave us a character where it makes sense to go on a killing spree, as opposed to say Niko Bellic whom is morally grounded and he, as a character would never shoot a bunch of people. Trevor is reckless, remorseless and wont think twice before popping a random, and this topic is more about the introduction of the mechanic its self. RDR kind of started it with police posse's chasing you if you do some really bad sh*t, and I just think having similar things in V would be really cool. Say you massacre a late night beach party as Trevor, and then the next day you hear on the news how the "seemingly same" maniac murdered a bunch of innocents for no apparent reason. I do see where you're coming from, though, I just hope you also see where I am coming from
japse123
No, I rather want a un-playable serial killer witch we can hear about and hunt. Not Trevor being the killer and we can just control him lol

Not Trevor being the killer and we can just control him lol Ah yes, that would be pretty great. Having a bounty type thing, where you have to track and hunt him down. I can definitely see something like that appearing in the game. (I'm aware how often I'm referencing RDR heh)

I thought you were trying to say something completely different, so I apologize for the confusion. Now that you've explained it a bit better I do understand, and I agree with you completely. It's a pretty cool idea.

It would be great to actually hear your actions being reported on the news, and the introduction of news-helicopters following you throughout high speed chases (long shot I know) would be bloody incredible

If it continues like the last games endings, something dramatic that we would never expect is going to happen at the final missions. And i'm speaking of dramatic, the most mind blowing ending to date. They said a bold new direction, change the ending up to actually be a ending that blows the rest out of the water. TheMisanthrope
A serial killer is not a mental disorder.... it just means 3 or more killings. Someone who is a "killer" will stick to a certain set of methods like binding you down in a room taking pleasure in torturing you possible rape then kill you and leave you where you won't be found until you're decaying. He seems more like a average sociopath, where if you do something he doesn't like or against you he has no remorse to the outcome of his actions. He kills you because you pissed him off or you owe him money or whatever reason it is.... so no in MY opinion he won't be notorious for killing people in his county and what not. Judging from the 2nd trailer where he says "the guns and crank in this area go thorugh Trevor Phillip enterprises or they ain't goin'!" he's probably running his own protection business so if you don't pay up or pay you to operate in that area you beat the amount of money out that person or if they still disobey they die. That's just my opinion and observation. I could be 100% wrong.
Mr_Clifton
Trevor's probably gonna kill Franklin at some point in the game ---KIFFLOM I doubt that Trevor will kill Franklin. That is to much of an obvious choice. If anything with Michael being a "snitch" it would be more likely that he sells both of them out.

Bolt Thrower
I get the feeling that the player will be forced to choose which character dies. This would be an interesting and bold new direction and I can easily see Rockstar having this as the major twist at the end. Either way, I can't wait to find out.
