Mason GTA Posted November 20, 2012 Share Posted November 20, 2012 I feel like this idea is big enough for it's own topic and it got lost in the wishlist thread. Does anyone think you should be able to temporarily beat the police in GTA 5? When you decide to go on a killing rampage and see how many stars you can get, the police shouldn't be just unlimited and come at you non stop. If you are bunkered down and armed well enough, you should be able to kill enough to where you basically killed all the areas cops and you get a few minute before out of town backup arrives or military ect. Make it hard to do but if you do it right it actually feels like you killed off all local enforcement and have a decent chance of escaping at that point. Of course you'd have to be armed to the teeth with body armor and rocket launchers ect and have a strategic plan but if you could... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It would be interesting if say, cops had to call on their radio for backup- the same way the witness thing worked in RDR. That way, you could basically beat up a police officer in the middle of a park at night. If he's alone, you could get away with it. Then, when another person sees the body, a wanted level radar around the body will come up (and not around you). If you're seen by the police in that radar, an official wanted level will begin. This reminded me of DRIV3R (I can't remember if it was in Parallel Lines) - if you committed a crime, the cops wouldn't immediately go after you - they would be dispatched to the area, and if you were one of the people closest to the crime scene, they would pursue you. But if they got there first and you walk into the crime area, they ignore you. As for OP's idea, I actually like this. Would be nice to be able to mow down dozens of cops and have a brief moment where backup is on the way, but all the cops who initially pursued you are all dead. Simply kill X number of enforcement in an area, and rate that number of your general area and how populated it is, once you kill off that many, backup takes a full minute to arrive or something. 03silverbullet Posted November 20, 2012 Share Posted November 20, 2012 i beat the cops all of the time.........................................from the sky. when i want it with the cops, i jump in a buzzard and do work until i'm 6 stars strong or until i'm tired. i then, jump from the chopper, pull my rip chord, and glide out of the alert area. V will be a real problem to get around if they send fighter jets after me, or have A.P.B.s out on me for a curtain amount of time after my stars go away. And for a real challenge you will face a super cop who is physically tougher than a normal cop and armed to the teeth, just to get the job done.
