Crimson Flam3s Posted November 20, 2012 Author Share Posted November 20, 2012 lol actually sleeping dogs was pretty good compared to the average crappy campaign inS most games(specially fps), and it's around 15 to 20 hours. What killed it was the lack of MP IMO but still a great game and way better than SRT. Seriously it's just incredible that many games offer so little but they still put a price tag of $60, why do they have to do this? I bet they would sell more if they lowered the launch price because I know most people, if they consider a game not worth $60 they will just buy it used cheaper.. If we were to compare the amount of content in this game to your average game, I think gta could be worth $100? Rockstar is the best. But since you have unlimited time, and unlimited amount of fun, and since it's basically your "fault" if you get bored.. should it be free or invaluable ? .-. I don't find it incredible, because this is how games should be. "small" games like COD and Splinter cell Conviction, where you can finish the game in a few hours, take the piss, and you're used to that kinda money snatch thing. Gamestop tried to rip me off for $15 for a season pass on a brand new game, but I knew better and knew that new games come with the season pass already, despite them lying and telling me otherwise. I want to stress when they say 20 hours they mean everything ! the easter eggs and all. So if you ignore that unless crap the game will be 10/15 hours at most. I wish they would make it more like grand theft auto and less like saints row but what can you do ? People would rather 10 long missions then 70 shorter missions Not really, I remember you got a gold trophy (achievement?) for completing the GTAIV main story in under 30 hours, and I didn't get that first time. That could be a possibility. I bought it from EB Games, which is pretty much the equivalent of Gamestop. The thing is though, my game has the price sticker still on it that says "$69.99". If they really were ripping me off, could they really just paste a sticker on the game case that is higher than it's supposed to be? That seems like a dick move... That IS incredible. 10 Hours? Didn't they said it's around 20 to 30 hours (don't know anymore how exactly)? There will be many possibilities in the main story if you play with different characters. So you can already be prepared for at least 30 hours main story fun. And besides the story there is a huge map to explore with random "secret" events and much more. How do you imagine it to play the game? Don't f*cking care and end the story as fast as possible without the love and respect to the work that R* did to GTAV? Look at it! This game is a win. Give them a chance, you're so negative. I guess they learned from their mistakes after GTAIV. That game is at least 100$ worth in my opinion. They probably mean it takes that long when taken at normal pace and watching the whole cutscene I knew a guy that got the game on a tuesday and completed it by wednesday. After waiting for the game for 3 4 years. He rushed through it. story mode people are referring to To discover and get 100% it will take more than 80 hours of gameplay. Unless you go online and find where everything is. I must be a total noob because i finished the story in 20 hours but 4/5 days and never got a 100% complete rate. I never completed san andreas either and i was playing that for about 6 weeks.
