Crimson Flam3s
That for $60 we are getting so much out of this game with a campaign of approximately 20 to 30 hours and a massive MP while other crappy games with 6 hour campaign and mediocre MP or none at all still charge 60$? If we were to compare the amount of content in this game to your average game, I think gta could be worth $100? Rockstar is the best.

kgrogfefji82
20 to 30 hours? I don't know about you, but this game, if anything like past titles, will last for years

Signal1
For a V year wait, wouldnt expect anything less. Should have 40 hour mission length.
roman bellics brain
The game is short. I'll give you that. It will probably take most people 10 hours to complete. I want to stress when they say 20 hours they mean everything ! the easter eggs and all. So if you ignore that unless crap the game will be 10/15 hours at most. I wish they would make it more like grand theft auto and less like saints row but what can you do ? People would rather 10 long missions then 70 shorter missions

Durden
I personally think that GTAV should be priced at $70 or $80. Its excrutiating to think that a game like Assassins Creed 2 can be priced at $70 (for some reason my copy cost me $69.99), and a phenominal entertainment experience like GTAV will be a mere $60 in comparison. TheDizasterChild
It won't be more than 60 bones. It'll be good, but no one is gonna pay out the ass for a game at the end of a console's lifecycle. Not the majority, anyway.
Crimson Flam3s
gta77 I never read your old topic why would I copy it? I said the campaign will probably be around 20 to 30 hours but obviously all the stuff in game plus just free roaming will make me play a looong time, and that's without the mentioning the multiplayer which IMO wil keep me entertained much longer than the single player. Games like cod should charge like $25 for that old reused crap, BO2 was the biggest innovation and even then, it hasn't impressed me a lot. I don't know why all games charge $60 when some of them are really worth it and even more, but some I would never buy new. Too expensive and not enough replay value. It's ONLY the story that is 25 hours, or at least comparable to RDR's storyline. Where the hell are you getting the 'They mean everything' bullsh*t from? Seriously! You say you want to stress it, you act like you know it all, as if it's a fact, the f*ck is wrong with you? You spit nothing but bullsh*t there. And if that was supposed to be sarcasm..sorry, don't bother, you suck at it. Edited November 20, 2012 by MosquitoSmasher
killahmatic
I'll most likely be playing this game longer than any past GTA game, and thats saying something considering i played San Andreas for about 3 years daily, and often for the next 3-4 years. AuSsIeThUnDeR36
I might finish the storyline after a week of solid playing at 6 hrs a night. So I think I might finish it at around 40 hrs without completing side missions etc so that number would increase to 60 hrs of gameplay for me. Add on another two years to see every interior, every building and every location possible.

BullworthAcademy.
I only follow video games that people online normally hype. If a video game is hyped enough I'm bound to buy it. I buy the game and check it out for myself, and If I like the video game I usually put in a good word for the video game online on the internet. I think 60 dollars is a good price to pay for a GTA video game because you need to realize that Rockstar isn't one of those game developers to disappoint it's fans. I think Rockstar expects you to trust them and vise versa when it comes to their games because I'm sure they have a reputation on their hands that they wouldn't want to mess up so if rockstar is up on their own game they surely wont disappoint most fans and will make good sales on release. I'm fairly certain that almost all the people on this forum have a lot of trust for Rockstar even if the game doesn't live up to most people's expectations I think everyone will be satisfied with what they have to offer. jamieleng
Call me crazy but I'd pay a maximum of £200 for GTA V. That's comparing how much enjoyment I'd get out of it, compared to 5 other full price games. It's also the only game I'll play through more than thrice. I don't even bother playing through games that have branching storylines more than twice.
kingbob182
Living in Australia, I'll probably struggle to find an non-'child friendly' version of this game for less than $100 even though our dollar is trumpin the US lately.
