ava134
Manual is soo much more fun. For controls it can be like left trigger is clutch, up and down on right stick is change gears, you can still move camera just by not pressing left trigger, and down on left stick can control brakes. Their can still be an option to go back to original controls.
Member#1
I'm not skilled enough to drive, steer, shift, aim and shoot all at the same time. So I hope it's as it always was. B.t.w. it's not a race game or driving sim.
Hendrix89
ALOT of people drive stick especially rednecks and rice burners A lot of people throughout the world do as well. Where Manual is the Majority. I can't seen Manual being a good idea for GTA V overall as how many people would want to bother with it anyway? As can imagine just a huge line of broken down cars dotted about everywhere.
aaronimpact
X, R1 and L2 all control the brakes on the PS3 in GTA IV, except L2 is also brake/reverse. Rockstar could make the R1 or X button the clutch on certain cars or as an option in the menu.
urbanfire
I don't think there's enough buttons on the controllers to do this. X, circle and square don't do anything useful on the ps3. X is an alternate handbrake (which is also covered by R1), circle is cinematic camera (can be done via select) while pressing square just turns on the headlights (practically useless especially when you knockout the front lights). So it can easily be done. X can be shift up, circle shift down.
JB94
I would like to see a sequential manual transmission available, but a topic for this already exists.
BUT THE BENZ
Before we drive a stick, we need cruise control (:
