With both Grand Theft Auto V trailers out now, it's only a matter of time before a third is released; but the question is, what iconic or non-iconic song will be appearing on this sequel of a trailer. Use this thread to post the guesses of the next trailer song! * Each member is entitled to as many guesses. We do not accept "Probably a rock song" or "Dubstep" - we want people to be specific. * Anyone can choose any song they want (which can lead to silliness - and 'off the charts' treatment [but it's still valid]) but do not get in a huff if more than one person picks the same day as you do. * If multiple songs are chosen, a colour will distinguish how many times it has been picked. * You cannot change your guess once it has been logged in this thread. Anyway.. here's my analysis for past threads: Hold On, I'm Coming - Sam & Dave I really think this song would be perfect for the second trailer. I've been saying it a lot and I guess I'm a little obsessed with it. "Hold on I'm coming" would also be a great message for the fans. It would be a little tip of the hat for the fans that have been patient and waited since 2011. Take it Easy Chicken - Mansun This would also be a great track for the trailer. I randomly found this song on the internet. It has GTA written all over it. Money (That's What I Want) - Barrett Strong Stevieh44 brough this up in another topic, and I couldn't agree with him more. This song is perfect for GTAV- this type of music is guarenteed to be in GTAV. With Michael being in late 40s, along with Trevor, this music would be their "oldies". We're definately getting an oldies station; it's never been done. Feeling Alright - Joe Cocker I really think Rockstar is going to pick a big, well-known song for their trailer. Who knows, but I feel like this would be the best approach. It should be upbeat, and a song we all love- a song we can all relate to. I Got A Line On You - Spirit If I could pick one song, it would be definately be this amazing track by Spirit. It fits so well with GTA and would capture the California vibe perfeclty. Just imagine all the added sound effects of the second trailer, and how perfect it would go with the song. Cars speeding past traffic, gun shots, voice overs. This would make the second trailer epic. The Priminitves - Crash I don't know why... but this song just screams GTA. I don't think it could be used for the second trailer, but maybe a short character introduction video. Liberty2k7 Posted November 19, 2012 Share Posted November 19, 2012 Rather than choose music that I REALLY like, I thought I'd suggest a few possible candidates (although they might be quite well known). Jungle Boogie - Kool and the Gang Wouldn't be the first time Kool and the Gang have been in GTA (Summer Madness in Vice City) and this has a really cool vibe to it. Also, it was in Pulp Fiction which was a really iconic film set in Los Angeles, so is somewhat fitting. Baba O'Riley - The Who Again, went for another band who have had music in GTA before (Eminence Front in San Andreas). This tune is a classic and I think it would really suit the vibe of V. Who Am I? (What's My Name?) - Snoop Dogg Just felt it totally impossible to leave this one out! Would be a nice little nod to San Andreas to include Radio Los Santos (or a station of a similar nature, being 90's west coast hip hop) and this song just reeks of that ol' G-funk era. Dunno about it being in the next trailer really, but definately a possibility for the V soundtrack! There are so many more suggestions I could make, just a few that would probably suit the game pretty well. Who knows, Rockstar might go for something really unknown.
