Which is your favorite game franchise?

Maybe this pool should be expanded with other suggested franchises. Deus Ex,Fallout,Uncharted and other game series deserve to be in this pool.

Metal Gear without a doubt. I've been playing them long before the main game came out in 1999 and haven't looked back since, I just love the whole stealth/action idea.

The Driver Series.

I loved Driv3r and Parallel Lines but I was more of a casual gamer when I played them. Think PL is waaay underrated.

Driv3r is tied with Driver 2 as my favorite. But I'm sort of guilty of not like Parallel Lines at first, but after waiting a few years I went back to it and really began to appreciate it.

 

I completely forgot about Uncharted. It's probably tied for second with classic Mario games - Mario Kart were some amazing games.

Pokemon (Anything by Nintendo really), Midnight Club, Ratchet and Clank (well, at least the first four or five), and (go ahead and shoot me in the head now) Call of Duty.

I do have quite a few favorite game series, but my top three definitely are (in order) GTA, Hitman and Metal Gear Solid. Other notable ones are Uncharted, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Bioshock, etc.

The Gothic series. The first 3 games are amazing but the later ones were developed by different companies and of course they completely screwed it up. Gothic 3 had multiple endings with very different outcomes; chances are the original developers intended it to be the last, the series just feels milked now.
